★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is no doubt the very worst camp site that I have ever seen. Period. Toilets are a complete nightmare, most of the lack seats! Or the doors are missing. Terrible smell. No leisure infrastructure whatsoever! Think twice before staying there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple Camping Place, when somebody is at the reception you have to pay, if not, you safe money :) the woman toiletts are simple but clean. You have to bring your own toilettpaper. Sometimes in the night the light isn‘t working. The showers are old but still working.
Every night their is music (live + DJ) in the village. Because of the location of the Camping Place near the rocks it feels like your sleeping on the dancefloor. And this lasts till 6 im the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historic place with all the caves. You can reach some of them by swim, others are paid to visit. If you have time you can have a small hike to red beach, which is absolutely amazing, and I recomend spending more time there than in Matal beach ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have stayed for one night. On my opinion the camping is not convenient for long stay. Not enough quantity of electricity plugins and water supply for campervans. Territory is not very clean. Toilets are dirty. In general it can be considered just as a parking for one night.

The showers:
If you haven't had a shower for some days because you were camping in the wild you'll love the hot showers. :)
If you're used to German camp sites with high standards you might not like it that much.
Toilets do what they should do.
Don't expect to much and enjoy the peace. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only option for camping in the area. Sadly, when we visited (May 2022), a camper and two adults paid €14/day, while toilets and showers were in terrible condition and desperately needed renovation. Equally surprising was the fact that the PUBLIC toilets at the parking site outside the camping site, freely accessed, where renovated! On busy days, swimmers park inside the camping area, violating any privacy of the campers, for just €3/day. On the other hand, very friendly staff!
