Mathraki Resort is not a hotel, it's small apartments and studios for rent. It's a family business and their goal is for the customers to feel like family. And that's why there are regular customers visiting almost every single year. When you enter the premises you will not only be greeted by the owners but the customers as well. The majority of the customers are from Holland but if you know English, you will find out that it doesn't matter where are you from. For more information about the business visit their website and if you book directly from their site you get lower fares, as I had. And across the premises is a field owned by the family were you can park your car. The room that we stayed in had a bedroom, a living room, small kitchen and a bathroom. There was a fridge, kitchen stoves, electric cattle, cutlery and pots so that you can cook. In case you just want to relax and not get involved with cooking, in the premises the family runs a restaurant/coffee/bar. Whatever I tried there was good, fresh and the portions are quite big. Drinks, beers and cocktails are cheaper than restaurants and bars elsewhere. One notice: Be aware of the dogs!! They will hunt you for belly rubs and cuddles!! :)

The one and online resort to be. Because it is good. Listening to there customers? They do it. Special things to eat? It is possible. Nice garden with a lot of fruit and flowers. 5 start it is not enough made it 10 start.

I really recommend Mathraki Resort. The room is not very big (for 2 persons) but it was very clean and we had everything we needed. The swimmingpool is very nice. When we came back from a daytrip, there were always enough sunbeds. Also a bit (not to loud) music, which was nice. But the best thing about Mathraki is the sweet lovely family! They are very nice and hardworking people. The best lunch and dinner on our vacation were in Mathraki, super delicious! Thanks for having us!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment during August 2021 and it was one of the best stays abroad. The room was the perfect size and had a fully functioning kitchen with everything from a large oven/grill to a microwave and big sink with drying rack. The bathroom was spacious and included plenty of storage and the shower worked perfectly. Everything was clean when we arrived and continued to be regularly cleaned. Both bedrooms had air conditioning which was quiet at night and powerful when needed. The beds were extremely comfy and included a large wardrobe with storage and a spacious electric safe. The balcony was well spaced and had seating for everyone as well as a great view. There is a large pool with more than enough sun beds for everyone and there is a communal bathroom equipped with complimentary suncream and other essentials to use. In addition the taverna serves amazing food at a great price and provides an area to sit and socialise with everyone. Nikos, Dimitris, George and Maria are all amazing hosts and will always make time to sit and have a chat or play uno with you. George always has his interesting stories from when he lived in New York. It is all about family making it perfect for everyone. A big thanks to everyone working there, I have already booked my next stay. I would seriously recommend Mathraki Resort to anyone staying in Corfu!

Everyhing was amazing! The room, the hotel staff, the pool! If you visit Corfu you must consider Mathraki resort and ask for the windmill or the cellar, both excellent rooms!

I stayed at the hotel for Easter weekend, I highly recommend the hotel, very clean and modern facilities with a pool and close to the town of Corfu. Finally, the owners are the nicest and friendliest of people, cannot wait to visit again soon.

Holidays is always about people you meet. This Resort is well preserved and runned by family members. By spending your time in Mathraki you will be surrounded by unique greenery from kumquat bushes, fig trees to ancient olive trees. It is a perfect oasis for family beloved animals, here you will meet two curly doggies, big turtles wandering around the garden and a chubby cat. People that loves animal so much loves the others as well. You can sense care here, profesionalism and all the members has good sense of humour (so, dont worry just be happy) . We stayed in the mill house, it was really romantic place with posibility to have some privacy. The Resort itself makes solid impression, you can really take your time to relax. Thank you!

Our stay was from 14 to 26 May 2022 and we liked it. Both 46 years from the Netherlands. Because it was the beginning of the season, it was very quiet. Enough sunbeds for the pool.  I counted up to 10 people in pool including ourselves. We had apartment 13. A two bedroom apartment for the two of us. This gave enough space. There is only in 1 bedroom closet. The other room does not have a closet. In one room the is a small 2 person bed, in the other room 2 separate beds. Beds are fine. With showering, pay some attention else the complete floor is wet. Kitchen is simple, but complete enough if you want to cook yourself. Something we did not do because the food here is excellent. because it's the beginning of the season, they didn't have desserts yet. Not bad, because the portions of food are large. We eat on few other locations when we rented the car, but all were not that good as here. Via Mathraki also rented a car (independent of theirs). This saves a lot compared to travel agency. Some reviews stated that the owner was surly. We do not share this experience. He and his 2 sons are not shy about a chat, but you have to be open to it. The owner's wife didn't saw that much. Often busy in the kitchen restaurant. the apartment is on top of a (small) hill. We were dropped off with the van from the airport in front of the door. When we left, we had to be ready at the bottom of the road. Think that this travel agency is dependent. free wifi is stable and fairly quickly. We liked it and can recommend it. We've even talked to people who have been coming here for over 20 years. That's saying something.
