★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the Black Angus Burger. It was delicious! Soft Brioche bun, sweet caramelized onions, slightly sour pickles and juicy well seasoned meat. Came with some grilled vegetables and a small salad with balsamic vinegar drizzled over both, yummy. The fries were thick and crisp served with enough barbecue sauce to dip in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maxim restaurant looks almost like a beach cafe, it's bright, roomy and cozy.
We've visited Maxim over 5 times in total, and every single time they nailed the food, the service, and they are definitely not afraid to help you if you need any advice regarding the menu card.
The Maxim personnel is incredibly low profile (in a good way) and delivers excellent service every time.
We would definitely visit them again if we get the chance!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First day in already and we needed to find a place to eat and came across this cosy, beach bide please. Amazing food here and OMG! The service is to die for, they are so customer friendly, polite, nice and patient...I just love that. They help you think of what to eat if you don’t know yet what you want and at the end we even got the little fruit mix as a surprise. I have only sweet and good word about this place. So when ever you are in the neighborhood of Amoudara( right next to Heraklion). The food was good, I had the chicken gyros, a little bit too big of a portion for a small lady like me, but I loved the meat. Great tast and seasoning. Till next time♥️.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice staff and atmosphere, big portions and tasty food. Special section in the menu dedicated to vegetarian dishes - we tried a few and all were really good, especially cretan salad (see the photo). You also get fresh fruits as a dessert on the house, which is super cool.
