MegaRent - Arvis 9

I had a chance to spend a vacation with my family in Crete this July (2017). As it was a top of touristic season in Crete, the choice for a car rental company was not that obvious, since most of cars were booked in advance... However, I was very lucky to came across MegaRent and get in contact with Emmanuel. I was more than happy, because he was able to provide a good car for a very affordable price with full insurance included, with no hidden fees or any of that sort. To conclude, it was a great pleasure to be a MegaRent customer, communication with MegaRent and Emmanuel was flawless, which helped us to enrich our overall experience in Crete. I highly recommend MegaRent, as well as I will be contacting them in the future for my travels to Crete!

We had a great experience using megarent for our trip in June 2018! Booking was very easy and Emmanouil was great in helping us decide what size car would fit my tall husband. He dropped off the car at our hotel on time and we were able to drop off at airport for no additional charges. The car was brand new and in excellent condition. We were a little low on gas at the return, but he was kind to not charge us extra. Megarent had the best rental prices we could find. Would definitely use again!

Very good rental car company. Friendly, no hidden costs, all insurances included. Normally you can book only a car group but due to the number of suitcases and bags we have asked if they could promise us a specific type. The promised us a 5 doors Clio and we got exactly the car. The car was nearly brand new, clean and without any damages. The car return was very easy, they did a quick check and the deposit (credit card receipt paper) was torn in front of us and handed out.

We rented a Fiat Punto from Megarent for a week in July 2019. The experience was very good. We got a totally new car and the price was low. Service was excellent and everything went smooth. I am sure that we are going to use this car rental next time and can recommend it to everyone. Big thanks to Emmanuel, who was kind and very helpful.

We rented a car from MegaRent in late August through early September. We corresponded with Emmanuel via email to set up the rental. All charges were disclosed upfront. We reserved a car, but with four of us needed a slightly larger car. MegaRent provided a larger car with fewer than 8,000 km on the odometer. They met us at the port and took us to the airport office. The process was fast, efficient, and priced well. Great service and I recommend them to anyone needing a vehicle in Crete. We will use them again in the future.

Unprofessional and dishonest. On 25th of June I booked a car for the period 22 August-5 September, for 400€. On the 18th of August I received an email from the owner saying that there were problems with the cars (accidents) and that he should cancel my booking. I tried to contact the owner to find a solution, but instead of finding a person who was sorry for what happened, he starts arguing with me (as if it was my fault), giving absurd explanations about the situation. Since the story seems too strange to me, I decided to send an email with another email address asking for car availability for the same period and magically I received the answer that there was a car available for 750€. When I call the owner back telling him that he replied to another email address saying that the car was available at almost twice the price, he makes up more excuses claiming that there was a mistake and that he wasn't the one to reply (even if there was his signature at the bottom of the e-mail...). In the end, if you want to plan a trip in advance and with peace of mind, I would advise against choosing megarent. P.S. the 1 star review is mainly due to the arrogance of the owner rather than the cancellation of the booking (even if it happened just few days before the pick-up of the car).

Rent for the 2nd year in a row from MegaRent Car Rental at Heraklion Airport. I am very satisfied with the correct handling of the rental and the quality of the vehicles delivered so far. So I'm going again this year for the same rental company.
