Been there today for rapid -Covid Test . It is 24/7 hospital where you can get examined for Covid. Although You can scan with QR code your credentials, in order to get in line , you need to wait there or you need to call the call center to get back your results. I would prefer to email my results , rather than need to call back. The staff was really helpful and particularly the nurse who was always around to guide us through the procedure and answered all my questions. As I get frequently examined for Covid , special thanks to the nurse who collected my sample made the experience less awkward than it is . Recommend it.

Excellent medical team under Dr Vernardakis, humane and most considerate approach , definitely commendable ! However the cashier and financial services are incomprehensibly worse than the state sector, endless delays to produce one paper and incompetence , what a shame and disgrace for the rest of an excellent teamwork

Metropolitan hospital Cholargos counter staff full of racist 24/05/2021 I was so disappointed about their behavior . I had a stomach pain on 20/ 05/2021 2.30 am Went to the emergency with my father. they charged me €350 only for 3h of time, and after all doctor gave one painkiller and inform me that i need to consult gynecologist because they can’t treat me for the pain . so i came back home with pain and they ask me to get the report after 2 days . we paid all the bills and they call us and inform that we need to pay more money because of cashier made a mistake so we paid money again, when I ask about reports and bill amounts ( -2 floor cash counter staff, entrance receptionist , entrance corner side counter staff, and account department cashier and same building ground floor counter staff and emergency first counter staff those who work there was so rude at me and not being polite at all . without providing proper information that they make me to walk here and there with my stomach pain.. I won’t recommend this hospital for any foreign who has (tan skin color or black skin ) they are so mean and full of racist. I went there because it was a private hospital and i paid them without getting proper treatment. i’m an Eu family member resident permit holder currently live in Greece , in my mother land we always treat foreigners and local people with hospitality we don’t have racists over skin colors. metropolitan Hospital HR department should train their staff how to respect people without being racist..

Doctors and nurses have been excellent and really helpful. The hospital has aged and needs a refurbishment- which I believe is underway.

Very rude and unpleasant bureaucratic employees, nurses without knowledge of English. The only good stuff is some doctors, not all of them. When you are there and you have a card of foreign private insurance, they first ask for money, your life can be in danger but they ask you for money even you are close to death. Ughhhh...

Came as a foreigner to do a COVID antigen test. Took about 1 hour total, very simple and easy. Open on Saturday and Sunday. Arrive early so you don’t have to wait in line. The COVID area is in the back, to the right of Building B entrance. You need to take a ticket and wait in line. Cost is €20 at the time of writing this. The test was fine for flying. The staff was polite and courteous, and the waiting area was tranquil and shaded.

When my mother unexpectedly fell, fractured her hip and required surgery while on vacation in Athens from the USA, I am so grateful to have found Dr. Masiotis and his team at this hospital. I almost didn't come here because of the reviews, but I am so glad I didn't base my decision on some of these unfair reviews. I am a nurse practitioner in the US, and I understand the needed medical care for recovery. The nurses and physical therapists were very attentive and competent. Dr. Masiotis, the orthopedic surgeon, was the most compassionate doctor that I have ever met! He went above and beyond to meet our needs, and coordinate care, including coordinating transportation to the airport on discharge. He even called me in the US to make sure we made it home safely! I never felt that this hospital was only concerned with finances. They were very fair in their prices. What an answer to prayer to have found this hospital care team!

Very nice experience during an inguinal hernia operation in June '22. Clean hospital, with polite admin staff and nurses. Recommended.
