Mikro Nisi Restaurant - Μικρό Νησί Βολιμων

The service was good, the location stunning, but nothing, I mean nothing could make up for how horrible this food was. Let me be clearer so this review might help you make your choice, we ordered taramasalata (it was presented beautifully) it tasted like it was half salt, the zucchini were dripping with oil, and the calamari, already salty was further flavoured with excessive salt. I didn't even eat the meal, I gave it to my less discerning friend and she ate it, but she agreed it was horrible. I did tell the staff, but they gave me a response I don't appreciate it. The staff told me this is how this kind of food tastes, as though, since I am a foreigner I have no knowledge of Greek food, no palate. In fact, I have been in Greece for 30 days, eating out 2x a day and have had fantastic cuisine, so I have ample comparison. If you order a salad you might be safe. In response to the restaurant's comment below...I explained my friend, not I, finished the meal...but what is embarrassing is that you serve this food and charge people. I hope you find a better chef and when I customer explains their distaste of the food, you actually attempt to rectify things, rather than being defensive... I asked for a one Euro refund for the bread, out of principle, as you offered us absolutely no apology nor tried to make things better...clearly an attempt to make back money back on my part, I regularly attend restaurants and try to get them to knock one Euro off the bill! . I knew your food was horrible, but who knew you also lied. Good luck with your restaurant and your ethics!

The food is expensive for the quality and quantity. 15€ for a a dozen of small mussels. Fried calamari was good and fresh. The house wine is terrible. The nice surprise was that there is a small cove below the restaurant, where their boats are rented from. It could be a very chilled place if it was better taken care of (broken beach mattresses, boats coming and going and not a lot of room to swim, fuel smell…), nevertheless it was nice to rest there after the meal and definitely quieter than the nearby beaches.

I give 1 star for the prawns but 15€ for this lmeal is VERY VERY expensive. The salad is very poor and it doesn’t even come with a seasoning… I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

This place serve some very fresh seafood and delicious too. Having lunch by the sea with magnificent view is perfect.

Amazing! This is so far my favourite spot, during the day you can just chill by the water on stylish sunbeds and feel like you're in a boutique hotel with private beach. Lunch and dinner was great, fresh fish and great wine, worth a visit. They also have a boat rental service if you want to explore the shipwreck

Very nice view over the bay. Friendly service. Quick. Not cheap not expensive.

The calamari was delicious. Staff is kind and a very relaxing spot by the water. You can arrive by boat, they'll come to you and dock the boat. Paypal and revolut payment accepted.

Beautiful scenery. By the boat rental. Food much below average, very low on flavor. Even the Greek salad was bad. Prices are over the average, but reasonable for the setting. Service also poor.
