Family run restaurant with grand mother as the main chef in kitchen using premium ingredients. TIP 1. Ask for "TSIPURA with KRITAMA" to get an unforgettable delicious fish dish. TIP 2. Ask for "GARLIC BREAD" which is a great example how this place turns a basic thing into culinary piece of art. TIP 3. "GAVROS" small fishes are very well made and fresh here; they match really well with tzatziki. TIP 4. Pylarinos family runs also the one and only beer brewery on Zakynthos. Ask for authentic Zakynthian beer "LEVANTE". The brewery is very modern, locates 2km from taverna and may welcome visitors and free tasting if you ask possibility from taverna.
A	Alex Dima on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average food. The aubergine salad is moslty Mayonnaise, the Tzatziki is made also with Mayonnaise instead of Joghurt, the Calamari is partly fresh partly frozen rings. The Frappe Cafe is worse (instant coffee + blended ice). Maybe you are lucky and get better quality food.

As with the place next door, they take full advantage of the fact that they are one of only two food options in the immediate area. Meaning they charge as much as they can while serving you the most basic, bland, sad looking and tasteless food they can possibly get away with... Only to top it off with terrible service. Stay away, rather drive 10min down the road. The old windmill serves great food, as well as several places towards Port St Nicholas.
M	Mind Aesthetics on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad attitude first impression. Arrived 10 sec at the parking, the guy was yelling 'for customer only' at us with a group of other customers looking at us. Then he talked to them he would close the fence due to private property. Close it then! We changed our mind after seated 5mins. Leave them alone.

The restaurant has a nice view, but this does not supply the rudeness of the waiters...the most unprofessional crew ever seen. No care for the customer, long time waits, comments and jokes after our complaints. Absolutely not suggested.

The waiter was rude from the moment we arrived without particular reason for that. My son ordered chicken souvlaki, the waiter said there is just pork souvlaki, so my son said he would prefer to have a toaster in this case which was in the menu with everything else. The waiter got upset and said that we can’t have toast for lunch because toast is for breakfast…we asked him to bring the things we order and meanwhile we will chose something else for my son. The waiter got upset again and worn us how expensive are the menu books so we should do our best not to spoil it?! There’s nothing more to add.
