★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il luogo è bellissimo e suggestivo, il santuario Minoico però è dentro una recinzione (al momento interrotta, quindi si entra di straforo...) senza nemmeno un pannello informativo. Se si è interessati bisogna quindi cercare in rete delle spiegazioni sul tipo di costruzione, il contesto, ecc. La struttura del santuario è comunque ben visibile.
The place is beautiful and evocative, the Minoan sanctuary, however, is inside a fence (at the moment interrupted, so you go straight in ...) without even an information panel. If you are interested, you should therefore search the web for explanations on the type of construction, the context, etc. The structure of the sanctuary is however clearly visible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sulla strada per il santuario si trova questo sito minoico abbandonato raggiungibile con una camminata di 15 minuti non particolarmente faticosa. Sul lato destro salendo, la splendida vallata con il paese di Archanes. Il sito è totalmente privo di spiegazioni inoltre è chiuso da un cancello e da una rete. Nella parte più alta un'apertura clandestina permette comunque di entrare e vedere più da vicino i resti. Peccato siano tutti abbandonati. La vista è comunque splendida.
On the way to the sanctuary is this abandoned Minoan site that can be reached with a not particularly strenuous 15-minute walk. On the right side going up, the splendid valley with the town of Archanes. The site is totally devoid of explanations and is also closed by a gate and a net. In the upper part, a clandestine opening allows you to enter and see the remains more closely. Too bad they are all abandoned. The view is still splendid.

Views however are spectacular from here.
