★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6 euros entrance to the place is a bit high. Also, there are no information panes detailing the history of the place (Knossos had these everywhere). So it's basically just a place to take pictures without the possibility of learning much. Also, the place seems quite reconstructed with modern cement so it is difficult to really find out what exactly were the remnants of the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The palace ruins themselves are spectacular. If you are into archaeology you will find this site fascinating. Just don't expect to ask questions of staff and get a comprehensive answer. The staff that my friend and I spoke do didn't know much about the site. Hence only four stars. Well worth a visit though. Take water.
