★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can highly recommend Minoan Tours Car Hire. Michael, the owner couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and his rates, including full insurance, are very competitive. The car was brand new and very clean when we collected it. On our return we left the car in the hotel car park
which is where we collected it from and returned the keys to Michael in the office. The only downside of car hire in Greece is that you collect the car with an almost empty petrol tank, so have to immediately drive to find a petrol station, which may not be very near. Also, calculating just how much petrol you will use in order to return the car with the same ammount of petrol is a bit tricky. Much easier to use the UK system of starting with a full tank and ending with a full tank. In every other way our experience using Minoan Tours was brilliant! Thank you Michael and lovely to meet you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can recommend Mionan tours. The owner Michael is very responsive, helpful, easy to deal with and very customer-oriented. The car we rented for two weeks from and to Sitia airport was a bit more used than what you usually get from the big rental companies, but it was clean, ran just fine and perfectly fitted our needs. The price was very competitive and included full insurance coverage. I would definitely rent from Minoan tours again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a group C car for 7 days from Heraklion airport. Price was extremely competitive. Note: no hefty excess insurances to add. email communication pre-arrival very clear also
On our arrival, the guy was waiting with board outside arrivals. This is a key advantage to the big hire operators where you have to queue at their desks on arrival.
Car was very well presented and clean, no issues on collection.
On departure we simply had to park the car in the airport car park and let them know the row/bay number to the car park cashier with the keys, for Minoan tours to collect.
Very simple, very good value, nice people to do business with!
Would not hesitate to use again

He gave us water when we arrived (nice touch), and piloted us through town to the road that led to our destination. We appreciated the all-inclusive pricing, that included insurance with no deductible and roadside assistance. We would not hesitate to rent from this company again. Top marks!
