The places and the history of the Temple are interesting.

L	Lazaros Koulis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σε μια πλάγια σε υψομετρο 170 μέτρων πάνω από την πόλη της Ξάνθης υπάρχει το μοναστήρι αυτό όπου η εικόνα λέγεται ότι βρέθηκε σε καλάμια.. Εξου και το όνομα..Γυναικειο μοναστήρι χτισμένο με πετρα.. Βλεπεις αμφιθεατρικά όλη την παλιά πόλη της Ξάνθης εως την θαλασσα..με εκκλησία μέσα στο μοναστήρι μια μεγάλη και μια μικρή περπατας στην αυλή του μοναστηριού.. Κατι αλλο δεν έχεις να δεις από το να προσκυνησεις και να δεις έναν ταφο..Ο τάφος είναι 2 μικρών παιδιών τα οποια βρέθηκαν σε πηγάδι προ 7 έτη από τις μοναχές.. Λέγεται ότι τα έπνιξαν Τούρκοι ή τα σκοτωσαν και τα πέταξαν στο πηγάδι.. Η διαδρομή αξίζει καθώς μπορείς σε 2 χιλιόμετρα να βρεθείς σε μια γέφυρα..αξιζει πιστεύω η επίσκεψη καθώς και η βόλτα εως την γεφυρα On a slope at an altitude of 170 meters above the city of Xanthi there is this monastery where the image is said to have been found in reeds .. You see amphitheatrically the whole old city of Xanthi until sea..with a church inside the monastery a big and a small walk in the yard of the monastery .. You have nothing else to see but to worship and see a tomb..The tomb is of 2 small children who were found in a well before 7 years from the nuns .. It is said that the Turks drowned them or killed them and threw them in the well .. The route is worth it as you can be on a bridge in 2 km .. I think it is worth the visit as well as the walk to the bridge
