g	geo scorpio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η παλιά Μονή είναι χτισμένη στη κορυφή του όρους Ιθώμη. Από το δημόσιο δρόμο ξεκινά ο χωματόδορομος που οδηγεί προς τη Μονή. Περίπου πεζοπορία μια ώρα και δέκα λεπτά. Βέβαια αν κάποιος διαθέτει τζίπ ή αγροτικό μπορεί να ανέβει πολύ κοντά στη Παλιά Μονή και μετά έχει να διανύσει μια απόσταση 5 λεπτών. Σε αντίθεση με τη νέα μονή, η παλιά μονή παραμένει κλειστή. Ανοίγει ελάχιστες φορές το χρόνο επομένως μην περιμένετε να τη βρείτε ανοικτή. Η θεά όμως που χαρίζει η τοποθεσία θα σας αποζημιώσει για όλη την πεζοπορία. Πάντως στη μονή γίνονται κάποια έργα συντήρησης αυτό το διάστημα. The old monastery is built on top of Mount Ithomi. From the public road starts the dirt road leading to the Monastery. About an hour and ten minutes walk. Of course, if you have a jeep or a farm you can climb very close to the Old Monastery and then have a 5 minute distance. Unlike the new convent, the old convent remains closed. It opens a few times a year so don't expect to find it open. But the goddess given by the location will compensate you for the whole hike. However, the monastery does some maintenance work this time.
