★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very disappointing experience. All items on the menu are on the more expensive side. The souvlakia we ordered,besides being overpriced, were stuffed with vegetables, not leaving enough space for the meat. The quality of the meat was mediocre. The beverages were also on the expensive side. Overall, not worth it for the quality of the food, I would not choose to eat here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have arrived late one Sunday night in Xylokastro in early October. On the lookout for something to eat we came across Mpérdema's street sale, which was about to close (but the only thing still lit-up). They were almost done cleaning, but nevertheless served us two very good chicken gyros pitas.
Communication was not very easy due to my lack of knowledge of the Greek language and their (fluently) English speaking personnel already having left, but since they were eager to help us starving tourists it all worked out fine. They even charged us a slightly reduced price only!
The opening hours are definitely different during off-season.
I do not know why they are rated 4.1 only. The food is of good quality (we have returned twice to their restaurant), the personnel is very supportive and kind and it is situated right by the sea, too. Furthermore, the prices are really fair!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is located in a nice corner with a view of Xylokastron promenade. Quick service and the personnel are friendly and helpful.
However the quality of the food is quite disappointing. Pork sticks were not well cooked, a bit fatty and there was an unpleasant taste and smell. The meat wasn’t juicy at all. Chicken sticks were fortunately well cooked, but not tasty and also fatty which comes as a surprise for chicken.

Absolutely every item we ordered was served wrong.
The food was bland and tasteless.
In my 20 years living in Greece I have never eaten at a worst souvlaki joint.
Spare yourself the experience and eat literally anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very clean and nice restaurant. If you would like to eat pork, chicken, kebab this is the place to come. Friendly staff, good service and good quality food. The portions are medium sized and the price is good. Most of the time it is full of people so plan ahead. Family friendly too.
If you come with a car the parking can be a bit tricky during the peak hours since there is not a lot of space to park.
