T	Tolis Karydas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Από το 1998 το μοναδικό στο είδος του μουσείο φιλοξενείται από το 2002 σε ένα διώροφο νεοκλασικό κτίριο το «Καστρακίδειο» , κατοικία της Πόπης Καστρακίδου, εθελόντριας του Ελληνικού Ερυθρού Σταυρού, η οποία το 1962 παραχώρησε το κτίριο στην Ιερά Μητρόπολη Τρίκκης και Σταγών προκειμένου να χρησιμοποιηθεί εκείνα τα χρόνια ως μαθητικό Οικοτροφείο Θηλέων. Στο ισόγειο παρουσιάζονται οι ενότητες: «Πρωτεργάτες του αθλητισμού των Τρικάλων», «Παλιοί και νέοι Τρικαλινοί αθλητές» και στον α΄όροφο οι ενότητες: «Ολυμπιακοί και Παραολυμπιακοί Αγώνες», «Παγκόσμιος αθλητισμός – Έλληνες και Ξένοι πρωταθλητές», «Αίθουσα Τροπαίων του Γυμναστικού Συλλόγου Τρικάλων» Since 1998 the only museum of its kind has been housed since 2002 in a two-storey neoclassical building called "Kastrakidio", a home of Popi Kastrakidou, a volunteer of the Greek Red Cross, which in 1962 granted the building to the Holy Metropolis of Trikis and Stagion for use in those years as a student boarding school for females. On the ground floor are presented the sections: "Entrepreneurs of the Trikala Sports", "Old and New Trikalian Athletes" and in the following sections: "Olympic and Paralympic Games", "World Sports - Greek and Foreign Champions", " Gymnastics Association of Trikala »
