★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible hike and gorgeous views. Not for children or anyone that is not used to climbing rocks - watch out for the goats and the goat skeletons!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful to see from distance but if you are going to walk the path within 20mim you will notice you were not supposed to be there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pictures by Peyton Rose are actually of a completely different site! He has obviously never been here and I don't want anybody else to make the wasted journey I did today. There is actually very little to see here but the scenery is lovely. I'm posting a picture of what it actually looks like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ancient memorial place to visit with great view over the bay, but it's not organised. It doesn't have stairs or clear path. Easy to reach if you're outdoorsy person, like hiking etc. I would not recommend it for old people or children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful landscape with 3000 year old history under foot.
I think the poor reviews are because people are expecting something more of an excavated site with guidance on the history for tourists. This is simply some minimal ruins nestled within some fairly amazing geological rock formations overlooking the bay. There is no signage describing what took place at this location, no tours, and no gift shop.
So consider you expectations reset.
Now stop by on your way to Kolimpithres Beach or Paros Park and take in the beauty of this location. Reflect on an ancient civilizations choosing this location to keep them safe with fortifying walls built along the contours of the natural landscape. Ponder what happened to them--did they flee after a siege? Was it an earthquake? Did they get tired of all the kids coming over from the mainland to dance all night? We may never know.
Also highly recommended if you've rented a mountain bike as you need to trek up the rocky path from the main road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was fantastic! Expect a bit of a hike to the top but you'll experience an awesome view of the water and countryside. There are some ruins but most are toppled over and remains of some old, old buildings. If you are able to make the hike it is highly recommended! Parking is very limited at the base.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool hike, but not a path or really any clue what the ruins were. The views from the top of the mountain were great though. It is quite strenuous and watch out for the goats!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remarkable place. If you don’t mind being a little risky it brings out the jungle gym climbing kid in you. I climbed on all sides of the hill looking for ruins. The rocks dance and leap but are actually quite grippy and easy to scramble up. As fascinating as the ruins are they geology is the real show.
