★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice museum, with a very cheap ticket, but it needs more effort to become a modern museum. There are some truly beautiful pieces but more explanations are needed, maybe with some interactive displays and something more about the history of the relics, the excavations etcetera. As it is, it's a very old-fashioned museum but still well worth a visit if you like antiquities (as I do).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Paros Archaeological museum is a small yet interesting museum in Paros town. It has a small collection of artefacts dating from the prehistoric age until the Roman era. There’s a small court with pieces and 2 halls, one containing statues and grave monuments, the other containing pottery and similar artefacts found on the island.
Because it’s only €2 it is worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely great place to visit if you're visiting Paros, whether or not you're interested in history. It has a lot of things dating back thousands of years ago with most of them around 700BC-400BC. It also has the mosaic floor of the ancient Greek gymnasium that depicts Herakles' Labors, massive (although mostly broken) statues of Artemis, Athena and Gorgon. Tens of pots and burial casks, little pots, coins, and ornaments from that time period. Go during the early morning to avoid the Greek sun's peak at 12PM.

It was 2 Euros per adult and the children are free. The museum it's still takes 20-40 minutes depending how fast you move and if you read all the information plaques for all of the pieces.
It was definitely worth the stop if you're into history and seeing the history they they have been able to preserve and share.
