Mykonos Kosmoplaz Beach Resort Hotel - Beach

We stayed 5 days in this beautiful place. Our room had an amazing view over the beach and the sea. Spending some quality time in our private hot tub was also really nice. More important: The service was outstanding! Everyone from the restaurant upstairs to the receptionist was always helpful, friendly and had a smile on the face. When someone is welcoming you with open arms and saying "another perfect day for you" you know that you choosed the right place for your holiday! Thanks to the team from the Kiwi guy and the German lady!

Dimitries at the front desk was delightful and Ionnia in the restaurant upstairs was a most kind soul! DO NOT GET A DRINK OR FOOD AT THE DK OYSTER RIP OFF RESTAURANT Between Kosmoplaz and the beach......check their AWFUL REVIEWS. DK Oyster isn't affiliated with the hotel but they're close proximity makes them a liability.

The rooms are very small and basic Pool are was very small not enough sun beds the hot tub thing does not work you only get sun till 12 then poll are would be in shade and you would have go to the beach if you want sun the breakfast are had nice view but there’s hardly anything to eat the lady owner or manager that would seat with her computer every day in breakfast was very rude she did not say hello one’s or smiled when I said morning twice just ignored me the staff are fantastic but hotel is not worth the money

Pros: Great location with nice landscaping, and a fantastic view from our suite. We stayed in their deluxe suite with the jetted pool overlooking beautiful Platis Gialos beach. The Eclipse restaurant was wonderful, and the staff were great there. Continental breakfast was above average. Room service was a plus.. The hotel was overall clean and their outdoor pool facility was well kept with beautiful gardening. They offered assistance in getting transfers as needed. The housekeeping is very attentive to guests needs. Cons: Unfortunately our room (110) had no WiFi our entire stay there. We asked multiple times if someone could look at it and the last time we asked the man at the reception desk said “well the hotel is full, so that’s why you don’t have WiFi”. It was clearly a range issue because we could get WiFi down at the front desk, just lost connection by the time we got to our room. WiFi is important to those of us who have to pay for LTE by usage amount, as well as we are students so remote connection was a necessity. We ended having to pay extra to our phone company, and we were not reimbursed by Kosmoplaz for that. Hopefully they fix this as other guests will not like the dismissive attitude we received when we communicated the issue. Especially when you are paying for their most expensive suite. Other issues: - the recessed lighting flickers/strobes on and off despite being turned off. It would flicker for hours each night. - we had to call someone each time we wanted to use the jets in the tub outside and to turn them off, as the button did not work. They had to remove the panel and manually turn to the tub on and off which was a downside. - the faucet on the right sink in the bathroom did not work our entire stay. - the water takes up to 10 minutes to get hot. Beware: This property unfortunately shares a building with DK Oyster (look at their reviews). I strongly encourage everyone to stay away from venturing over there. Though this is not the fault of Kosmoplaz, some guests were not warned and we heard some sad stories of being scammed and extorted. Please be wary that DK Oyster owns all the sun beds on the beach that are right in front of the Kosmoplaz. Instead, use the sun beds of the other businesses on the beach.

Had a good stay at the Kosmoplaz in Mykonos. Spent a week here at the beginning of May 2022. The welcome we received from Dimitri at the reception desk was very much appreciated and was helpful in guiding us on what to expect from our week stay. The rooms are fairly large and are cleaned daily (no un welcome knocks as you ring the reception when you are going out and the room is ready to be cleaned). The private swimming pool was nice to have featured however we seemed to have picked a colder time of the year to go (around 18c for the time of year we were in) meaning the swimming pool felt like ice water and could not be used as much. It’s in a nice quiet area of mykonos with a really nice beach right outside the front. A note is to make sure you avoid the DK Oyster restaurant right outside Kosmoplaz as you’ll get charged about €300 for a couple of drinks. I believe they are separate companies, but they are on the door way as you walk to the beach which is a shame as this could have a negative impact on the hotels reputation. They should probably consider if they want them on their doorstep (check DK Oysters reviews on google). We tried the restaurant for dinner a few times and the meals were good value for their meals. We also got breakfast included with our stay and they had a nice variety, although we found that if you went after 9.30 nothing was restocked which was a shame. Would definitely consider staying here again if I go to Mykonos

Great service, really friendly and accommodating staff, lovely clean rooms with everything you need including extra towels for the pool area. Great choice of breakfast and lunch/dinner, all tasted fresh. We had a super stay.

This is a great hotel to stay at, and if you get a sea view room, you won't be disappointed in the amazing views! The staff is absolutely wonderful to work with and they are extremely accommodating. Do not believe any of the 1 star reviews about the outrageous pricing, because that is the dk oyster lounge right outside that has no affiliation with the hotel. They warned us to not use them at all because they are scam artists. Avoid dk at all costs! My only complaint about the hotel itself is that our room was right below the restaurant, so we could hear chairs moving and doors slamming all morning during breakfast which would wake us up. We suggested to the front desk that they put some felt under the chairs to stop that noise. I think our stay would have been perfect if we weren't right below the restaurant. Other than that, everything else was great, the room was spacious, we had a sunbed on the balcony, and a very nice shower.

The staff here are so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! Beautiful hotel with fantastic views from breakfast, lovely and clean pool set up etc. The position on the beach is also fantastic. If you’re coming to this resort, this hotel will not disappoint, great value for money.
