Nathalia og hendes mor er varme og elskelige værter, som holder af at lære gæsterne at kende og byde folk hjertelig velkommen. Nathalia er en dygtig vært og en fænomenal kok, og hun laver det meste af maden af sine hjemmedyrkede grøntsager og specialiteter fra egnen. Kan varmt anbefales til folk der holder af ro, nærvær, personlighed og smuk natur. Og stranden og den lille by Kalives er blot 10 minutters bilkørsel væk?. Douliana ligger ca 25 km fra Chania.
 Nathalia's houses are a small family run place with 4 houses of different sizes, all newly built but kept in traditional style like the rest of the beautiful mountain town of Douliana. Nathalia and her mother are warm and lovable hosts who love to get to know the guests and warmly welcome people. Nathalia is a skilled host and a phenomenal chef, and she makes most of the food from her home-grown vegetables and specialties from the area. Highly recommended for people who like peace, presence, personality and beautiful nature. And the beach and the small town of Kalives are just 10 minutes drive away?. Douliana is located about 25 km from Chania.

Natalia cooked food fresh for us with a specific dietary requirements (not dairy, low carbohydrates) and everything was utterly delicious
Very much recommend you visit here if you want fresh and local food, full of flavour in a quiet relaxing atmosphere

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped here for lunch and refreshments during a long hike exploring two nearby cave churches. The location and architecture are stunning. Natalia and her mother are lovely, welcoming and attentive. Ordering food was a bespoke experience, rather than a menu Natalia and I brainstormed a meze, taking into account what I like, what was already cooking, what they had in and my hiking activities before and after the meal. They are vegetarian friendly, checking if I was vegetarian first (I am not) and offering plenty of vegetarian options alongside the meat options. Everything they serve is fresh and locally sourced, much of it produced themselves. The food is good, the service and setting are wonderful and the homemade lemonade is excellent, perfect on a hot sunny day (almost every day in the summer). They are very friendly, laid back and good company, a shining example of Cretan hospitality.
