Local market here on a Wednesday untill lunch time. Closer to the bus station you get the more like piss it smells. Other than that it's ok.

Plenty of space to roam around while waiting and shops nearby for snacks. The entrance to the building behind is too dirty though it is not their jurisdiction.

RUDE STAFF MEMBER. I visited twice from London over the past year (Once summer and once recently) Two occasions buses were late, resulting in me missing changing busses coming from and to Thesaloniki. On both occasions I had been rudely met by one of the main employees at the station. The first time a bus that had picked me up was 15 minutes late and I missed my change over bus to go to the city by 15 minutes and pretty much told by this worker "Tough luck". My recent encounter happened as I took the bus from the city to go to Mudania and was told that my bus would arrive at 5pm and at that time, the last bus to go to the local villages would depart. Upon arrival, my bus from the city was late, BY 3 MINUTES ONLY. It was at this point I asked assistance and it was the same lazy rude worker who was in charge. After I asked "Where is the last bus?" This person looked up and down at me as if he did not like the way I looked and told me as if to treat me like some kind of fool "The bus left at 5PM, you should have been here earlier." to which I said "But that bus you see in front of you just arrived from the city and I came on it and it was 3 minutes late because I was told it would arrive the time it was suppose to to catch the 5PM bus." This person's response was "YOU should have called in ahead to say you were going to be 3 minutes late." Then he walked away from me like he gave little to no care that I was now stranded and had to walk as there were no more buses for that day. People like this bus worker who is just a lazy rude person who looks as though he sits all day and just the thought of asking him a question is insulting to him, should not be allowed to have a job like this. Twice I have encountered him and twice he has been rude and treated me with disrespect. I understand being late is not their issue, however, they run a system based on the idea that THEIR buses run on a timetable so this thing should not happen and twice it has and twice this same person I have encountered made me feel as though I deserved to disrespected.

It could have more seats. But it's good enough. There's also a mess trying to find your bus. The building needs some upgrades and they need to be more organized.

It's been a very long time since I was in a bus station in Greece. Unfortunately in a country where more people are driving and even more are on motorbikes it's understandable that not many use the their buses. Very simple station and i mean simple not many locals use them. There is a small shop inside that will sell drinks, ice creams and coffee, and anything else to help you pass your time until the bus leaves. Their buses are very good and will get you in any location you need to go. Fairs are cheap and i would recommend that you find out what time the latest bus leaves because you don't want to be stranded or your trip might be made by a taxi which won't be cheap. If you are someone who travels a lot you realise that looks can be deceiving. Traveling by bus is still a great way to see Greece
