★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent surroundings, high quality and we'll presented fish and seafood dishes. By far, the most elegant chicest fish taverna on Schinoussa. The experience, however, was soured by a vindictive manager/owner whose pettiness and boorish behaviour is truly astounding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to try the well-known Nikola of Schinoussa. We were completely unhappy getting very simple dishes. On the negative side, fried zucchinis were very oily and coarsely chopped, fried squid was like a shoe sole (15 €), roasted sardines had no taste at all and were probably stale. On the positive side, nice environment and view, delicious fava beans, and tasty tomatoes in the salad. We left the dishes almost intact and we were not even asked if everything was ok. Below average quality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant and a landmark of Schoinousa. It seems that circa 80% of clients are loyal repeaters, some coming from the nearby islands just for a late lunch, others being repeat clients for 20+years. Both food and service are exceptional. Cannot recommend enough.
