★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and helpful staff. The apartment was simple but clean, fresh and a comfy bed! The pool area and food is also very nicely done. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach area and shops/restaurants. Rather objected to paying an extra 7 euros per day for aircon (and 3 euros per day for WiFi if it had been working). If I went on a winter holiday to Norway would I have to pay extra for heating?! The extra fee is in the small print but not obvious enough when you are comparing holiday costs during the buying process. You will need the aircon if you want to sleep because its very noisy from the pool bar music and goes on until 3am most nights, to be able to leave doors or windows open. The dog did have a go at a few people while we were there, not us luckily! Not a bad holiday but wouldn't go back. Perfect if you love socialising till the early hours and don't mind the extra costs. We paid 30 euros extra for a late checkout and we're allowed to stay an extra couple of hours in the room on top of that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apartments make for a lovely location as a base in Stalis. Large, airy apartment with essentials. Pleasant, friendly staff, clean and appealing atmosphere. Relaxing terrace around the pool. Close to lovely beach and a good selection of tavernas and bars. High standards all round. Would recommend as its excellent value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a fantastic holiday in Niko's Appartments! The host family was so friendly and lovely - we were really sad when we had to leave. Our hosts spared no effort, gave us tips regarding activities and tried to fulfil every wish.
Huge thanks for these amazing people!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family run apartments, bar and pool. Very relaxing atmosphere. Good selection of drinks, decent menu and prices. Short walk towards the beach and restaurants.
It's our third stay here and would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time back to Nikos apartments and was again more than happy. I will more than likely only stay here when I holiday in Crete as its close enough to the strip to walk but also far enough away so my children aren't disturbed late at night. We love Nikos apartments and the family that run it. They are very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Food was delicious as always. Missing Nikos and Crete already!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place! The owners treat you like you their family. The hotel is a nice place to spend time. The pool is so relaxing. Plenty of places to sit relax and have photos. Food is stunning. I recommend the new York chicken. And always give princess plenty of attention she deserves it
