Ενα πολύ ωραίο μουσείο ..Διατηρημενη η οικία του όπως όταν κατοικείτο.. με αρκετά έργα και προσωπικά αντικείμενα του ζωγράφου ..
A very nice museum ..His house is preserved as when it was inhabited .. with several works and personal objects of the painter ..

One more magnificent museum part of Benaki network. You need plenty of time to fully explore the five floors of this art gallery. There are many books, personal items of the artists, paintings, sculptures and other artworks. The last two floors used as the home and the workshop of Nikos Chatzikiriakos-Gikas and are AMAZING. The design and the decoration curated by the owner and everything is many decades old but looks modern. Another hidden gem of Athens. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant experience, museum is five stories, with two being left as they were when the painter lived.

The atelier of contemporary Greek painter evolving into a boutique museum of modern art! Exceptional and not to be missed! Definitely worth paying a visit

The collection was a pleasant surprice. The museum has five stores. In the first three there are paintings and sculpture from all the main modern greek artists. There are also some intresting historical relics (if one is intrested in things like that) like the pistol that was used by (the poet) kariotakis or the nobel prise of (the poet) Ritsos. The last floors are hosting the exsibition of the modern painter nikos hatgikiriakos gykas. The last two floors have his house and atelie as it was. Overall a very nice place to visit if you arr looking for greek modern art. The staff was very friendly (One can also visit frisiras museum in plaka for contemporary art and the national gallery-glyptotek near ethniki amina metro station. For a history of modern greek art)
