Wonderful experience, I went with my wife and daughter to the Notos Hotel last year (2017), but I still have good memory of it, family staff very friendly and kind, room was big and always very clean, nice area also outside the room with table, where you can enjoy the wonderful Greek sunset. The room had also a nice small kitchen, very useful if you want to cook by yourself. Close to the hotel there are shops where you can buy food or drinks. Very good breakfast served close to the nice swimmingpool. The number of guests is limited so the place is also quiet and relaxing. I wish I had the same hotel also this year in Rhodes... I think we will come back to complete the tour of the wonderful Crete.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The location is fantastic. The breakfast was an awesome spread and the facilities are really good. Its nestled just out of the way of the busy Malia streets and near some great local restaurants. But not only that the staff here were so incredibly lovely and went out of their way to cater for us. We were able to arrange port/airport transfers for an early morning arrival and late night departure and they were very flexible with the check in and out times. The also arranged quad bikes for us and were happy to help with all our questions. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet hotel halfway up a hill where it's peaceful. Surrounded by mountains and the sea so it's a perfect place to unwind. Good breakfast and beautiful pool area. Our room was very spacious. We mainly ate at the many restaurants around the area but the foid here is great too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would like to stay here again.

Little gem of a venue with simply 5* staff, totally caring and make you feel like one of their family. Initially we were a little disappointed with our bungalow, we felt the description misleading as there were no cooking facilities here unlike the other apartments, I think split-level room would be a more accurate description as bungalow implies that you can cater for yourselves I think. This is the only reason it does not get a five star rating, however this was more than compensated for by the care and attention showed by staff. Every guest we met seemed to have been visiting and revisiting for several years, completely relaxing for parents, close enough to activities for their teens without being able to hear the clubs all night. Do get a car though unless you are a hill-walking enthusiast as that slope is a killer. A handrail at the stairs end of the pool would make it more disabled/child friendly, I did feel as if I was dicing with death each time I came out that way due to vertigo, but hey not everybody suffers with that. I would love to visit again!

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and tidy, good showers. All beds are just twins pushed together. The pool is clean, and plenty of sun loungers including 4 cabanas - all just on a first come, first served basis. The bar/restaurant was open for lunch and breakfast, but not open in the evening. We were not informed of this prior to arrival. There was a lack of staff at the hotel. The only person there all day is the very lovely lady running the pool bar. We arrived at 1200 and the bar lady had to show us to our rooms. Unfortunately the hot water stopped working in our part of the hotel, and again due to the lack of staff, the only person to inform was the bar lady. It took 2 days to get fixed, so that was 2 days with no hot water and we weren’t offered anywhere else to shower - even though it wasn’t the whole hotel without hot water. We also lost hot water for another day, some 3 days in total. Never received an apology or explanation, as there were no staff. I know we traveled during COVID and some changes were to be expected, but having no Front of house staff, and no hot water is very poor.

Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality! George and Sofia really helped us to make our trip relaxing and everything worked smoothly. They gave us great tipps on what to do and see in Malia and helped us organize the car rental and transfer to the airport! The pool was wonderful, especially during sunset time looking above the city of Malia! The apartment was very nice and clean! I can definitely recommend staying here! We will surely come back to visit whenever we are back in Malia! Wishing you all the best Melli, Lily and Wiebke

Excellent locale(10 mins to town) friendly and helpful staff, all around neat and comfortable rooms. The pool is amazing with unbeatable views during sunsets. All this for a cheap price :)).
