We came in last minute without a reservation but the staff was really nice and kind, we got the last available apartmant for a fair price.

We had an awesome stay there, Lida is such a great person. We definetely come back soon!

Crete is a beautiful place but the Stelios apartments was a huge letdown for the following reasons: -No wifi in rooms, you have to go to the lobby to use it -No hot water in the evening -Very small shower. -Very noisy at 5 in the morning due to youngsters come back from raves drunk -The bed sheets only get changed once a week -Charged extra for the safe and AC, which is a huge issue since it gets unbearbly hot in the summer and practically impossible to go without paying the fee for the AC -Very narrow streets, taxis have a hard time finding it -The managaing lady had a bitter attitude towards us, e.g. when asked for clean bedsheets was told it will only be chnaged according to schedule

The Stelios Apartments is the place to be! Visiting solo was not only rewarding for me but very, very fun as you will meet the most amazing people here and will also have an experience to remember. You cannot describe Lida, she is the most magnificant lady and mother you will ever meet, and everybody loves her. She looks after her guests like you're part of the family and she speaks many languages! Do not miss out on the Greek culture and the spectacular views as it is something to behold, and just a short walk through the beautiful Old Town towards the strip!

We had a great time here at Stelios Apartments, the apartment is very cozy and we had the basic stuff in the kitchen. You must buy stuff for your hygiene for the bathtroom and for the kitchen (detergent). The pool is very clean and pretty big.

Fantastic accommodation in Malia, Crete. Stayed here for a girls (and boy) holiday and absolutely loved every minute. Owner Lida and family are the most down to earth, welcoming, friendly, helpful people ever, absolutely loved their company! So attentive to any request we had (without being in the way/all over us), made us the best hangover food to order, was always up for a great time and we felt like quests in her own home as her & her beautiful family made us feel so welcome. The apartments are absolutely spotless and incredibly clean/homely. Such a relaxed setting a little further from the centre of town which we loved as it was a little quieter and felt like a little hidden gem. Stunning grounds, beautiful rooms, food, drink etc, pool area and even better service. I had a bit of a drama on the second day and ended up in hospital with a cut foot (no fault of Stelios Apartments - just my own classic clumsiness!) and Lida immediately jumped into action, got us a taxi and tended to my wound as we waited. When I returned all stitched up, Lida helped us move to a ground floor room which I could access, and kept an eye on me the whole time and helped me with anything I needed the rest of the week. Lida is an absolute angel, and I'm 100% certain that if she hadn't stepped in and cleaned the wound as quickly as she did that day, I may not have a working leg/foot today. I cannot thank her enough! This review is extremely overdue as we promised to review her place as soon as we returned. Sorry for the delay Lida! Lots of love x
