★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το μοναστήρι βρίσκεται πριν το χωριο Μαραθώνας. Συγκεκριμένα για να βρείτε πρέπει να στρίψετε εκεί που δείχνουν οι ταμπέλες Βάση Ελικοπτέρων Ναυτικού και να συνεχίσετε τον δρόμο μεχρι την διχάλα. Εκεί δεξια συνεχίζει για το βουνό, ενώ αν πάτε αριστερά στη διχάλα είναι ο δρόμος για το μοναστήρι. Μην περιμένετε να δείτε κάποια σήμανση. Ο δρόμος λέγεται Αγίου Γεωργίου.
The monastery is located before the village of Marathon. Specifically to find it you have to turn where the signs show Navy Helicopter Base and continue the road until the fork. There on the right it continues to the mountain, while if you go left on the fork it is the road to the monastery. Do not wait to see any markings. The street is called Agios Georgios.

Wonderful monastery I go to service every Sunday, it has three nuns and consistently the same faithful.

Gorge next to the Holy Monastery of Agios Georgios Vranas. Difficult, demanding route with many points without a clear path. Awesome experience though.
