★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ ωραίο μνημείο δωρεά του Καπετάν Βασίλη Κωσταντακόπουλου κοσμεί το Λιμάνι της πόλης μας..
Ένα από τα πιο ωραία αγάλματα της Καλαμάτας μετακινήθηκε από το σημείο όπου βρισκόταν έως τώρα, στον κάθετο προβλήτα και τοποθετήθηκε στην κεντρική προκυμαία του λιμανιού.
Πρόκειται για το άγαλμα του Αφανούς Ναύτη, του οποίου η μετακίνηση έγινε από το Δημοτικό Λιμενικό Ταμείο σε συνεργασία με τη γλύπτρια Αικατερίνη Κοσμά – Τζαβάρα. Το άγαλμα εγκαταστάθηκε στην προβολή της οδού Βύρωνος, με σκοπό την ανάδειξή του και την προστασία του από βανδαλισμούς.
Η μετακίνηση έγινε σε εκτέλεση αποφάσεων του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου και του ΔΣ του Δημοτικού Λιμενικού Ταμείου

One of the most beautiful statues of Kalamata was moved from the place where it was until now, to the vertical pier and was placed on the main quay of the port.
This is the statue of the Invisible Sailor, which was moved by the Municipal Port Fund in collaboration with the sculptor Ekaterini Kosma - Tzavara. The statue was installed in front of Vyronos Street, with the aim of highlighting it and protecting it from vandalism.
The transfer took place in execution of decisions of the Municipal Council and the Board of the Municipal Port Fund
