★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many traditional Greek tavernas in Evia, but this particular one that is located in Kato Steni is something special. First of all you are being welcomed by Thanasis and Froso that own the restaurant. They are both very friendly with charming personalities. The design of the place is simple, but very beautiful. All the materials are natural that makes the place very cozy. The food is absolutely delicious. All the plates are simple, but Thanasis, the main chef and cook puts his personal love and taste to each one and transform it into something unique and gourmet. You can also find special meats only upon request. The vegetables according to the season are local and from Thanasis garden without of course any pesttisides. Prices are value for money. So, if you are planing visiting Evia island don't forget to eat there. It will be a delicious experience!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic! At first sight, you may think that it's not a nice place to sit and enjoy your food, but be sure that you will eat the most tasteful meal you could imagine! It's family tavern, with incredible plates. Potatoes with truffle oil, ginger chicken, saslik (lamb), kontosouvli and more. You should also order mushrooms with cheese and at the end, the owner brought us watermelon! I have to mention that the owner is very polite and friendly and the price is quite reasonable.
