★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing!! Great view right next to the gorge, and the food was so, so good. We had so much food that we were stuffed, took leftovers home, and it came at such a good price. The owners were so kind to us, and gave us free dessert! Cannot recommend this place enough. So calm and welcoming and delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is an absolute hidden gem, we went there 2 nights in a row as we were staying nearby, both were fantastic.
The food is as fresh as one could hope, for a ridiculously small price (you will be stuffed for 10eur including their delicious house wine).
On Sundays, they also have a wood oven and the place gets packed with locals coming with their families to spend hours around the table.
Great immersion in Cretan culture!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is another fantastic family run Taverna in rural Crete. We had the pleasure of eating here twice while staying nearby. Sunday afternoon is the special day when the place is packed with Greek families enjoying many local farm fresh specialties. Cristobal and his crew made sure we had everything we needed and more. Make the worthwhile trip from Chania. Highly recommended.
