Had one issue with ironing board, asked for iron it came quickly but it was wet and dirty on top which I didn't notice therfore stained and damaged my white shirt, hence just 4 stars other than that Exceptional hotel. Great service on every step breakfast is simply perfect. Even though it is on the hill they offer complimentary transfers to and from the Venus beach bar where you have also complimentary sunbeds. Rooms are simply beautiful in my opinion water suites are the best type of room except for presidential and honeymoon suites. Do not eat outside if you are scared of bees /wasps there are many. Water in the pools is warm and on site sunbeds are awesome.

We had a truly wonderful week staying here. It’s incredibly peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what we were after. Would recommend getting one of the rooms with a private pool. Also go half board as you get both breakfast and dinner included which is worth the price. We particularly enjoyed the yoga class with Linda (not well advertised). Ioanna, guest relations, was super helpful and planned out a great week of activities for us on the island. All the staff were kind, helpful and polite and immediately responded to any requests. Nothing was too much trouble for them!

Aesthetics are on point and service is top notch. The resort looks exactly as it’s pictured, and the service is as good as the reviews say. The staff will go far out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, and you can rely on their help for booking incredible excursions. If possible, I would recommend booking a room with a private pool — it’s worth it. Regarding the food — it’s very good, but a little bit more sweet than I’m used to (especially the breakfast). Also note that the beach is about a 15 min walk (downhill) from the hotel. This is by far the best hotel / resort option in Zakynthos.

The hotel is a pure gem, professional and oh so beautiful. What we loved: - fantastic rooms, very tastefully designed - amazing food and drinks - those are spectacular, we ate at many places on the island but sometimes we wished we have eaten at the hotel - the staff is so kind and nice, literally everyone. Sometimes people stop when they are driving to offer you a lift - feels like a family. They have also arranged our taxi to/from other places and they offered a possibility to charge the fee to the room which was very nice as taxis are usually cash only. The test before flying to the UK has also been arranged for us at the hotel, which was very convenient. - feels very small, there are no crowds at breakfast (we did usually eat early but even when we ate at 9:30 it was still quite nice) - transfer to/from the beach - wish they have mentioned that before because we almost didn’t choose the hotel because of that. Olea is located on a hill and there’s approximately 15min on foot to the beach, but coming back you need to walk uphill which might be challenging so the transfer is nice. What we didn't love: - wasps - there are tons of them, we usually love sitting outside when we eat our breakfast but unfortunately that was impossible here. I appreciate that’s not the hotel’s fault but it has affected our experience (the hotel will offer you burnt coffee so that the wasps will fly away but it sadly rarely works). Might be mostly annoying for me as I am terrified of wasps but still worth mentioning. - the room we got initially wasn’t what we expected, the view was directly overlooking other people sitting by the pool and it was very loud. We were offered to move after one day so that wasn’t too much of an issue. But if we were not offered a replacement we would consider changing the hotel/room type as the room was really bad with no privacy at all. - there was also some issue with picking up the ironing board from our room (we called twice and once someone came bringing another ironing board, so we were stuck with two and the second time no one came at all) - the fridge has a quite warm temperature inside - there’s no coffee machine in the room - it is difficult to find the exact room you want, for instance, I wanted the swim-up room with a shared pool but precisely the one that has no room above it and it was quite a challenge to find which room should I book exactly (that's a superior water suite for anyone wondering and it's the best room if you consider the value to price).

I thought for a while if I should do a review as I normally don’t do bad reviews. Instead I skip to review the place at all. But considering the service and the price I will make a exception. First we arrived at the hotel where a nice blonde guy welcomed us without any welcome drink (don’t want to be picky but you are paying for it, right). He wasn’t explaining us anything so we went on to breakfast which was really good with local food. After breakfast we went to our room which was ok BUT on the private pool area there was a huge noice which wasn’t acceptable. Furthermore there is nowhere written while booking that there are executive rooms without view. Which was the one we got even tho we payed for a room with view. So we Switched our room for the first time. Ow the view was really nice and the room seemed to be fine. I’m not mentioning the small details here like not working Ventilator or Broker hair dryer. So it took us on the first day 2 hours just switching. They let us wait for 1.5 hours. The second room had a problem with pool as the pump was broken. That’s where everything bad started in total it took us OVER 2 DAYS discussing where we had to go to the reception where they told us it was fixed where in reality it wasn’t. After couple times we switched the room again and finally got one where almost everything was fine. Not mentioning the hairdryer the guy who charged us for mini bar stuff which we didn’t have. As we took the room service all the time. The food in general was really good and fresh. The waiters tho where hunting for your plates you had your last bite and in a split of a second they reached for your plate. The manicure and pedicure which my wife and I had where horrible they CUT my wife multiple times and she BLED. BLOOD isn’t something you expect in a hotel like this one. All that mentioned they didn’t event tried to make it up. We heard they where sorry but honestly I don’t care in general we had 4-5 days of trouble on our 11 days stay which we obviously paid. So I wouldn’t recommend it as IMHO it’s not worth the price by any means. Get another hotel but this one it’s not worth it…. I talked with some other guests too which had similar problems so looked like we weren’t the only ones. Lastly I think that’s the longest review I did ever.

5 stars for sure! Unique location, high service and the most friendly staff. Visited in May, a perfect time! Daily free shoulder massage at the pool ? The food is nice but a little expensive, so I would recommend to visit the town as well to balance out the prices.

It’s difficult to rate the hotel as I feel the property is a world class property. But the service is not 5 star. Lovely people but not quality trained or educated in the Hotel Management service industry. The food was very nice and again the facilities are world class.
