Tsilivi Altura Hotel - P.O. Box: 16

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week and were sceptical about what to expect, after reading some of the reviews upon booking our holiday. But we had no reason to worry whatsoever, as we have had a lovely week in this hotel. It seems that some people are complaining about daft things, when you consider this a reasonably small 3* family run hotel. The food was pretty good and there was enough variety to change things up on a daily basis, although you may get the same fish for example, it will come in a different sauce with different accompaniments. We never really had the same thing twice. There are always easy options like chips etc. but there are plenty of choices to choose from. The rooms are of a pretty good quality, although a little more TLC would be necessary on wardrobes. The bathroom was the only let down, the rooms are adequate, but the sink water pressure was not very good and the shower head/s were not very good due to either bad plumbers or cheap equipment, this resulted in our floor getting quite wet, but it certainly didn't ruin our holiday. The bathrooms do look like they haven't been finished properly, due to the concrete look and could probably have done with painting to take your eyes off of it, but everything is smooth so it's not a big deal. The staff are friendly when you approach them, and the only let down was the evening barman who was correctly described as being only interested in the women and was pretty ignorant when serving myself. The bar itself has plenty of drink to choose from and the lager is quite a nice beer. We had days on both of the pool areas and both are nice places to spend your day in the sun. All in all, we have had a very pleasant stay at the Altura, with little to complain about other than the shower. I would definitely stay here again, although if the rumours of the price being put up next year are true, I would certainly not pay much more than what I had paid this year for the same visit, as I cannot see what more you're getting for your money.

I've just spent a week in this excellent hotel. I read the reviews like everyone else before I got here and was a little worried. Well let's put things right. Hotel is very clean and everything is of a good standard. The food is very good and even the most fussiest of eaters can find something to eat Entertainment is fine, the staff are all very friendly and there are two good swimming pools and a separate paddling pool for the tiny ones. Crunch question, would I come here again? In a heartbeat, far enough from the main drag to be quiet but close enough to see. Less than 5 minutes to all the bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to the sandy beach and clear sea

Beautiful place. Most of the staff are very helpful. Filled out my suggestion form which I am hoping they really consider seriously, as the quality of the all inclusive food was fantastic. No complaints, but could improve the facilities ie toilets and showers around the pool and bar areas. Also the bar upstairs being used better. Even suggested having a bar within the lobby, as nothing to do if the weather turns and you are unable to sunbath. Finally need to make a special mention to the receptionist (didn't get her name) but she was so pleasant and helpful especially on our arrival 19/06/2018 she changed our room from a double to a twin (312) which was very comfortable. She was always pleasant and polite. She is an asset to the hotel. I would definitely go back.

Just got back from 7 fabulous days at this hotel. We had a family room, 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, large balcony. Couldn't fault the accommodation. The top swimming pool was excellent. Dining room a bit like a canteen but food was good, not much variety for lunch, the same choices every day. Very clean and spacious place though. Friendly staff and we met lots of lovely people. Ate out twice locally, absolutely fantastic food. I find that most all inclusive hotels lack an out door dining space, and that would certainly improve this hotel. Otherwise a brilliant holiday and lovely hotel. Would certainly return .

This holiday was the best holiday I have ever had. The hotel is very clean and tidy, the rooms are lovely, air conditioning works well, food is really good and fresh even the funny eaters can get a good meal. There are 2 big pools and 1 paddling pool for younger kids. The pool on top of the roof tends to be a adults only zone even the it isn't children of all ages can go to any of the pools provided. This place was amazing beach is a 10 minute walk. The only downside to the hotel is that it is built on top of a very steep hill do if your in a wheelchair or using a walking stick it will be difficult to get up and down. Everyone in the hotel is friendly the entertainment is good. And this hotel should be a higher rating because there are no faults with it. (All the reviews from last year on here won't apply isn't a building sight anymore and the food was good.)

This hotel was absolutely wonderful, the staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them, the food was delicious and the rooms were super clean, me and my wife would definitely recommend the Altura hotel

Great hotel great location great service great pools maids do rooms every day and we had a good one food was good if you like pork not much variety unless you like pasta and continental tsvili is small lots of places to eat and a few bars beach great about 15min walk hope this helps ....enjoy your holidays
