★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed. They persuaded my to buy a very expensive Maui pair of glasses, costing over 300 euros. They were sold as very durable glasses made of titanium and anti-scratch lenses.
While at the beach I placed my sunglasses in the bag to go for a dive. When I came back I saw that the lenses were severely scratched. The glasses were not placed in the protective case, yes, but no movement or pressure whatsoever was applied to them. Imo this does not meet the "very durable anti-scratch" definition worth 300 euros.
Maui refused to change the lenses for free and the optical shop owner was trying to convince me that those are durable glasses and that it was my fault. I've been placing my glasses in bag for over 3 decades, even cheapass 30 euros glasses have not been scratched in such circumstances.
Sorry but 300 euros on something that is advertised and sold as the most durable pair of glasses (not the most glamorous) is a fraud and should be replaced for free.
