B	Barbara Anne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate at Palmyra restaurant Sat 11th, after chatting to the greeter who recommended the Sea Bass advertised on the board at the entrance @9.80€. After a wait of 40mins, our food finally arrived. The meal was fair enough. When the bill arrived, we had been charged 40€. We questioned this and pointed out this was advertised on the board at 9.80€. 'Ah you ordered off the board, oh yes, that will be 19.60€.'!! Another couple staying at our hotel related how the same thing happened to them also. If you do eat there, beware! We have eaten at several local restaurants during our stay, without exception all have been a much nicer experience, much nicer food and no other restaurant has tried to rip us off!

Unfortunately the hotel that this attached to is currently closed, so the swimming pool is drained and the view is a little spoiled if sat on that side, but sitting on the street side is great for people watching from the high view point. Food was lovely and service was really friendly.

Everything else was either undercooked, understated or cooked in a mountain of oily batter. Squid, calamari, prawns all .disguised in a thick arterial clogging batter. Wasn't offered apèritif drink like everyone else as I spoke my mind.

I ordered beef stifado. It was tasteless, grey and ugly. They also brought bread without asking, we didn't even touch it and it was charged afterwards. At least the service was good and this one star comes from that.

I stayed at the hotel across the garden, and each day asked for a surprise. I was always provided great authentic greek food, that was always quick, hot and delicious each time and left not only full but with a smile on my face too! Great place!
G	Gary Dale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed eating on several occasions at this wonderful restaurant. All the staff were very good at their jobs, whether serving drinks or waiting on the tables. The views overlooking the hotel pool or looking up and down the lively street were wonderful. The food was amazing, every meal had a personal touch to it and so so tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant during your stay in Argassi.
