We followed the blue Square/dimant route. From the monastery. 12K in total, round-trip. Last bit is challenging for little children. It's recommended to bring a climbing rope for young children safety while climbing down.

Interesting place since ancient time where Athenians used to worship Pan. Beautiful nature and the cave is just situated in the middle of a canyon accessed in two ways. First by an above road and long trail coming from Fylis town. Begins at and along the way to the monastery , then you follow the signs turning on your right hand and coming along a long upstairs hike. You will arrive above the cave and need to come down through the metal steps. Be careful! Second way is to get to the main spring water of Fylis and from there which is shorter since you had come by car then, will walk through a very nice open-green trail, has up and down walks, and finally you will get through a narrow passage beside the cliff and ending right below the water fall. On your left high hand you will see the cave.

Marvelous and magical area. The kingdom of Panos himself. These are the pictures from the upper, unmarked route, made 4 yers ago, in Winter. Now, in May, I couldnt find that way. I found the yellow-diamond marked path though. Also worth taking.

Not easy. There are many points in all of the paths that don't forgive mistakes.

Phantastic place straight out of a mystical tale, this cave sits on a small plateu where a gorgeous tree lives. Getting there is not the easiest task in the world but the path itself especially coming from the west is a reward on its own. The cave itself apart from being very charming is also a very important archeological site. Definitely worth the hike.

Amazing spot! During the winter a bit challenging to get there but one of the most amazing places to discover near Athens.
