Excellent Greek food. We had chicken and lamb and Greek salad. It was wonderful. Plum sweets excellent.

Came here based on the recommendation of the owner of the place we were staying at. When we arrived there was barely anyone at the taverna - service came quickly and told us the offer of the evening. No written menu or any list available. There was just meat and meat and meat. That wouldn't be much of an issue - it is Greeve after all. Ordered the lamb chops and the sausages with fries, greek salad and baked feta with peppers. All of the food was OK - although quite smaller than portions we have experienced so far. Greek salad was excellent with fresh vegatables. Meat was good, tasty, fries were definitely store bought and there was only a handful on the plate. The real surprise came with the bill were we paid for 4 dishes and 2 drinks (only reasonably priced thing on the bill) a hefty 32 euros. Not coming close to any tourist trap we have visited until now in our third week in Greece. Ridiculously overpriced for very small limited portions (just 2 small sausages and fries, nothing else on the plate - lamb chops were 4 small ones in total and the same fries). No sign of hospitality, after we received our food and finished our meals, we never saw the service again. Not worth the visit - only is you have really no other choice. Please feed the cat, it looked barely alive.

We ate here twice when we stayed in the village of Kleidonia. Really enjoyed the hospitality and the food and the beer. Very nice hosts. Also a nest of cranes on the telephone pole. Or some similar big bird.
