b	bas man on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ωραίος παραδοσιακός οικισμός με το κάστρο στην κορυφή του. Δεν κυκλοφορούν αυτοκίνητα μέσα σ αυτόν αλλά έχει ελεύθερο πάρκινγκ έξω. Ωραία ταβερνάκια, καφέ, μπαρ. Υπάρχει πρόσβαση με αμαξιδιο ή παιδικό καρότσι. Nice traditional settlement with the castle on top. There are no cars inside but it has free parking outside. Nice taverns, cafes, bars. Wheelchair access is available.

Beautiful !! The town of Samothrace, as you approach it, coming from Kamariotissa, the Rock with the Castle is impressive, as well as the cobbled streets, flooded, in the shade of the plane trees, and the hydrangeas !!! Τα σπίτια της Χώρας είναι παραδοσιακά χτισμένα, πετρόχτιστα, διώροφα με κεραμειδωτές σκεπές και πλακόστρωτα δρομάκια ανάμεσα. Πλατάνια κοσμούν την κεντρική πλατεία του οικισμού, ενώ η σπουδαιότερη εκκλησία της Χώρας είναι η Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου, ένα επιβλητικό κτίσμα του 19ου αιώνα, όπου φυλάσσονται οι Κάρες των Πέντε Νεομαρτύρων της Σαμοθράκης. Το Λαογραφικό Μουσείο Σαμοθράκης είναι ένα από τα αξιοθέατα της Χώρας.
