Ωραία παραλία, πολύ ρηχή με αρκετά beach bars, χωρίς ξεχωριστή χρέωση οι ξαπλώστρες συμπαθητικές τιμές

Ωραία τοποθεσία, αμμουδερή παραλία, θάλασσα πολύ ρηχή σε μεγάλη απόσταση με νερό μάλλον θολό.

Μεγάλη παραλία, καθαρά νερά και δένδρα για φυσική δροσιά!!! Το Σαββατοκύριακο δεν μπορείς να περάσεις από τον κόσμο.

Πολυ ωραια παραλία να φουμε τι θα γίνει το καλοκαίρι από ξαπλώστρες καθ μουσικές

Nice, clean and quietness

Shallow and clean waters, good for families with kids. After 5 loud Greek music in the bar by "dj"

The best beach in the Livanates area, especially with smaller children or for insecure swimmers. The shallow water with a soft slope, interrupted by three sandbanks allowing an easy rest or safe stand, with three thirds-, half of the body, or at least one's head over water. This makes it a great bathing location and playground, even for non-swimmers. Furthermore, the water here is quickly heated up by the sun sensibly, even in late spring. Therefore, older children can play around without being looked after contiously, permitting a relaxing beach-time for parents as well. Besides that, I would really wish for the Greeks to value their great environment a little more intensely and take care of their - basically - wonderful scenic places. Even if the sea is regettably overpolluted with plastic and all other kinds of junk (which is obviously a global- not solely a Greek problem), the beaches could at least be cleaned up regularly. Particularly, instead of being aimlessly as well as too densely planted with sunshades and sun loungers. Such can meanwhile be found everywhere at the still littered beaches. In my humble opinion, most tourists, especially from Northern Europe rather look for clean and natural beachsites, rather than for instantly being served snacks and drinks on location. Although we might be white (with a hint of quirky lobster-red after a few hours in the sun) and fat (well, at least about one half of us), we are still capable of crossing the street or walk a little for the purpose of food and drink acquisition ? The beach was best when we first got here early in the new millennium. We loved it so much, that we even had our wedding reception here (local family connection). By then, there was just one lone catering business existing, which is meanwhile disfigured by desultory construction activities. The latter is for the whole beach area, which was massively altered by useless beach clubs and similar unnecessary facilities, spreading all over the place during the recent years. Please, don't get me wrong, a little comfort is warmly welcomed, but the sheer masses of facilities now overcrowding beach and interior do not represent any added value at all and have obliterated much of the locations' former scenic beauty. Nevertheless, it is THE beach to go when visiting my family-in-law. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the incredibly nice inhabitants of this wonderful country (and of the area in paricular) will make up for the better, just a little...
