Best Hotel in Greece

F	Fiona Carter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe has a large terrace where the view of Agali bay is just as good as the food. We visited Pasithea for dinner both nights we were staying down at Agali Bay. We enjoyed delicious seafood, cooked so simply. We were told the fish is caught fresh locally and brought in by boat to the little wharf we looked down upon from our terrace table. This restaurant serves Greek food traditionally. We asked what fish was available for our dinner. I was then escorted into the kitchen and the fridge doors were swung open. All the glistening fresh fish were on display, some I was familiar with, other's not. I picked my fish, it was taken to the kitchen to be prepared. Grilled with lemon and olive oil! On the other night, we ordered, amongst other things, the calamari, stuffed and grilled, again delicious.

Fresh fish from the boat that morning-they’ll bring you in and let you choose the fish you want and tell you how much it will be. The shrimp saganaki appetiser is fantastic. We had sea bream and red mullet, both sensational.

D	D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best matsata on the island, home made and outstanding with either the meat balls, goat or even just the tomato sauce. Excellent fresh grilled fish with a number of mouth watering dishes including their tzatziki, greek salad either with feta or the local cheese and egglant salads. Commanding views of the beach and out to the ocean nestled between the backdrop of the stunning cliffs. Bathrooms so pristine you know this family takes tremendous pride. This is seriously good food with a lovely atmosphere. Came back multiple times because it was too good. One eats extremely well but inexpensive. Eating like this in a major city would be a special occasion for many. Eating here you know why you came to Folegandros. Highly recommended.

J	Jaron Brender on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the family owned hotel and restaurant is excellent value. Rooms are large and comfortable, with views over the bay and sea. Not all balconies are private though. the breakfast is very basic, but you can order extras from the menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. Suggestion to improve the large terrace above the reception area with elegant planting and more loungy furniture + shade. This would be a valuable addition to the hotel facilities.
J	James Ashby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic family run hotel with great care and attention to guests directly looking over the beach. Special mention to the very friendly Katerina, who goes out of her way to ensure guests have a great stay. Very well kept, super clean and wonderfully located on the sheltered side of the island and a short walk or boat to other beaches. A bus service takes you up to the main town / Hora in 15 minutes although a taxi back is needed late at night. Its a perfect base for your stay on the Island. All guests I met were clearly very happy to be there. Those that could extended their stay, did. I hope to return. Great find.
