I rented from Surprice in Albania and I was not given the car I had ordered or even anything close to the same. Instead I was given a car that seemed over 10 years old, faulty (They refused to accept that air conditioning water dripping inside the car onto the pedals was even a fault!) and very inefficient. I asked for the car to be changed and despite being promised many times that a different car would be found for me this never happened. They staff were completely oblivious to all my concerns and frankly completely dishonest. AVOID!

This was the third and last time I have used their service. Always a disappointment! I always tell them that due to my health insurance policy, I need to drive a car which is not older than 7 years in order to be covered - they always lie that the car is 3-4 years old but then checking by the VIN number I always learn it is more than 10 years old! Their only response it "let's hope for the best" and I have to phone my insurance and they charge me premium for the duration of my vacation. The last time we have hired a car in Heraklion, I got it with 1/4th tank of fuel (bear in mind this was in the middle of the night and I still had to reach the hotel which was quite far). I had to return it with 1/4th of tank as well. Just before returning the car I have topped it up with 10L of fuel and the fuel gauge didn't even move, I have topped it up 10 more liters but the gauge was like glued at empty! Only after 15 minutes of driving is started going up. I would assume that they have fiddled with the car somehow. Please be careful with that. Keep in mind that credit card details are not kept safe. They write them down on a piece of paper and tuck it in their pocket. These are not destroyed or given back to you once you return the car. I will not use them ever again and would never recommend anyone using them. It will be my mission in life to recommend against them and leave worst reviews everywhere so that people can learn how bad they are.

I would never recommend this car rental agency to anyone. As others have mentioned, they are just trying to charge extra money for damages that already exist. The cars are old and badly maintained. They charged me a decent amount for a scratch that was located at the bottom of the front bumper, which unfortunately I didn't check when I rent it. I am really disappointed by the level of their professionalism.

When we got to the airport, we had to wait for about 30 minutes before being able to go to the pick up place by shuttle, because the Suprice representative had to wait for other passengers (which were delayed). After that, only the driver was allowed to go and pick up the car, while the other person had to wait with both luggages in the airport, which overall took another 30 minutes for the driver to go to the park, take the car, and come back to the airport to get the other passenger. The car didn't match what we had reserved (we booked a Fiat 500 but instead got a Fiat Panda), but was relatively new and clean. On our way back, we went to the pick up place to leave the car, but once again the driver was instructed to make another roundtrip to the airport in order to leave the other passenger and luggages, even though we were only two. After returning to the parking lot, had to wait for about 10 min to get the car reviewed (although there was no one else there) and get back to the airport in a 9 seat shuttle, alone and without any luggage. Long story short, besides not getting the car we were expecting, we had to make 4 additional trips and waste a total of about 1h30~2h, for something that could be done in 30 min max, so consider that if you will be renting a car from this company, which I wouldn't recommend.

(This rating is for SurPrice Car Rentals at Malta Airport) Despite of the negative feedback online for the rental car companies at this airport we rented a car online in January 2019 and everything has been fine. We chose Suprice as they offered the best price online. The office of Surprice was easy to find in a bureau upstairs. Be fast leaving your plane so that you will be the first one in the queue. Employees were in a hush but friendly. They did not try to sell an additional insurance (good practice) and even explained to us that we have a CDW with our voucher. 900 EUR were blocked on my credit card, money was returned 2 days after car return. They don't use the official parking lot of the airport (probably to save money). They showed me around the car, presenting all scratches. I had to sign for the vehicle condition and for the price list in case of damages (if you select CDW during booking online, which I advise you, you only have to pay for handling fees if I understand correctly). I advise you to take photos of every part of the car with your camera in case of later discussion (example photos attached). During return they inspected the car carefully but everything was okay. Take a photo of the return receipt as they don't offer you a copy. The car (Ford Fiesta) was in good condition. There was a warning signal blinking at the display about tire sensors not being installed. I guess they saved the money which is fine as the tires were visually in good condition, too. My general advise on travelling is: Don't be naive, take photos, don't sign without reading the contract and handle property with care. Like this I've never had any trouble during my vacations. I would rent there again, thank you very much. Have a great time at Malta!

Definitely the worst car rental experience. We booked a Fiat 500 or similar. When we arrived at the airport of Chania, the employee from the company showed us the car. They gave us an old KIA Rio (at least 15 years old), much bigger car than what we have booked. When we told the employee that this is not what we have booked, he said that due to the season (9/08-16/08) this was the only one available. When we said that we are very disappointed because we wanted a smaller car (that’s why we have chosen that category) he tried to make this look ok and also said that he will mention this to the manager and that they will call us the next day and if they had another car available to change it. The days passed and no one from the company contacted us, nor cared of what we mentioned to the employee the day of pick up. The car was dangerous, if it went above 100km/hour the steering wheel was shaking and also, when you were turning the steering wheel to the right, the car was not stable on the road. Also when we picked up the car, the guy there was checking the scratches and he told us that the fuel was at the 3/4 (not full as they always are) and he told us that we should bring it back at 3/4. First time we saw this - usually they give it to the customers full and we return it full. We are very disappointed from SurPrice car rental. We always rent cars when we travel and this is the first time we had such experience. We definitely do not recommend them.

Rented a car at Surprice car rent location Chania Crete. The latest models are on their sites. what I got was a Kia Rio, about 12 years old. The car is in poor condition with various defects. I now know what Suprice stands for. bad surprises.

The worst car rental company I know. We´ve rented a car in Crete last summer and one of the few parts that were not covered by insurance were tires...we did not check them well until the end of the first day when we realized we have a flat tire. When we looked on the tires all of them had cracks, cuts or were almost bald (tires tread depth less than 2mm)! We got the car replaced the next day but again one of the tires had a straight cut (see attached photos) on the side which is extremely dangerous with a higher speeds! The roads in Crete are curvy and many times you have to go through the hills...the Surprice Car Rentals company is literally playing with people´s life. I recommend you to spend bit more money with a trusted car rental company and make sure you´re driving a SAFE car. Check the photos attached so you will see what I am talking about. Have a safe holidays everyone! Crete is amazing Island to go to :-)
