O	Ohad Duering on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very authentic local. The owner is super friendly and gives great advices where to travel. His mother makes very traditional food all by herself. It’s a beautiful place with a very good atmosphere and authentic Greek food. I would recommend anyone to stop here before you start your hike in the gorge.
Y	Yann Islas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place. To eat, share a discussion with Vassilis a very nice guy with a great culture of Cretan probably greatest author Nikos Kazantzakis. Mrs Maria, the mother and cooker make delightful cook with local products at good prize. There is also a old but totally well amenaged appartement upstair with kitchen, living room, double bed room and children room, big balcony and washing machine in the nice bathroom in which we stayed 3 nights for the same prices as hotel room. Lucky we are to stop there on our road! I highly recommend this place for a stay in this area of central and wild Crete. As Vassilis said, it's for the nature lovers. I would say it's also for wild and authentic Crete lovers, far from the touristic north coast modern hotels, but with similar confort! You may have a free Kazantzaki book at the end of your stay... Thanks to you and your mother Vassilis?

Vassilos greeted us very warmly at first but was followed by huge uncomfortable feeling when the food arrived and he was commenting on everything we did or ate, and intervening in a very intrusive way. He is haughty and only talks about himself. We had the bad impression of having to deal with an energy thief and left as quickly as possible without eating well and with a very bad feeling…

I highly recommend the walk through Patsos Gorge and the historic sights around the area, such fantastic views. A place to chill out, enjoy the countryside and original Crete hospitality.
