★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice albeit small cave which is rarely visited by tourists.
The inside pathway and lighting look professional and clean.
Entrance only 2 Euro and we had been assigned a guide with us to explain the history and everything in the cave despite we were just only two people there.
A little rough road to get there but no regrets, it was a nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not something that one does every while to go in a cave, and this cave was the first for me and it was so beautiful to live this experience.
The location is very high in a mountain, we used the metro blue line from athens and reached Nomismatokopio metro station,then we used a bus to reach paiania, then we had to decide whether to walk for one hour or to pay 5 euros and take a taxi, and taking the taxi was the best idea of course.
We reached the cave in 10 minutes, and paid only one euro a person and entered, it took approximately 40 minutes inside but the guide there treats people with a very bad manner, the worst thing in this day was dealing with that man.
But, this should not cover the happiness of visiting this place, I recommend going there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a 5 year's old. It felt safe, not slippery at all. It was a nice experience with a guide explaining the basic. There are formations thar are named baby elephant, dinosaur head, chinese dragon that draw the little one's attention. The tour is about 30' and the guide is keen to answer any questions.

Ideal little sunday-stop to gaze at the amazing views over athens and take the cave tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place to visit and incredible to see the geographical display of stalagtites and stalagmites inside the cave. Very quiet and peaceful and beautiful ride to the the top of the mountain at its location. Must boost whilst in Athens.
