Cave and on the beginning of it small Chapel. Cave has huge chamber. I highly recommend for everyone who wants to spend time out of city.

After driving on an extremely horrible road, we have arrived at this place. It's an abandoned place in the middle of nowhere. Unless you are mad about caves, avoid this place because you will not find anything fancy or worth a visit. If you are driving to this place, be extremely cautious on the stabilised road. Some huge rocks may damage your car.

Very nice and easy to access cave. Hosting a small church at its entrance, the visitor is then lead to the main chamber by a muddy gentle slope, which is huge and very impressive. Easy to find and access and along with its impressive history, since the marbles of the Acropolis where quarried form the entrance, makes it highly worth visiting. The entrance also hosts a nice climbing range for anyone interested. After exiting the cave one is greeted by an astonishing view...

Just a big hole in the mountain. A small Chapel is the most interesting feature. There is no information posted on site about the geology of the cave. Or the historical use of the cave. Water appears to be the major limiting factor for those who have lived on the mountain. Some water is dripping from the roof of the cave...in February.

Tracking till the cave from any direction is awesome. Fantastic view in each curve. The cave itself might not be exciting for all. Free, Safe n seldom appearance of visitors. Around 50 meters walkable length inside, cold n slippery but worthy to visit. Walk around the cave to have 180 degree panoramic view of Athens over horizon.

The inside of the cave is slippery, so be careful, the scenery is beautiful, the best when the weather is clear, you can see far away when you come out

About a 10 minute walk from parking just off the windy mountain road. This path offers great views of Athens and a cool cave / chapel at the end

The cave of the famous bandit "Ntavelis". A place well known for its urban legends. The vibe there most of the times is normal but sometimes... sometimes it feels a little strange... despite all of that the place is a nice touch in your hiking tour.
