An absolute positive surprise. The rooms are sparkling clean, quiet with every comfort one could have. Irene, thanks for some fantastic and unforgettable days in Petra Hotel. Your staff is so friendly - we will be back for sure.

Hotel Petra is decent, though nothing special. Room: the bed isn't a double but two singles pushed together. The room is spacious with plenty of storage and plugs. It has air con which isn't spectacular but is fit for purpose, and a TV which is pretty ancient. There's a fridge which is very handy for water and snacks. Everything was clean when we arrived. Our room has a big balcony which is nice, a sun trap later in the day but can sit in the shade early in the morning. Bathroom: very small and awkwardly shaped. The bath is slightly uneven and the only window opens directly in front of the shower head. The water pressure is very good. Breakfast: bread, cheese, ham, crackers, yoghurt, muesli, spreads. Everything tasted fine and there is a nice outdoor area to sit and eat. Coffee was good. Orange juice tasted very watered down. Pool: really good, big and clean with nice views. There's a snack bar and the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Use of the loungers is free. Location: good, not far from bars and restaurants and the beach. Near a little supermarket. Views are nice. I won't comment on price as it was kindly paid for by a relative and I don't know how it compares to other hotels in the area.

Decent budget hotel and the rooms were pretty quiet. To get a remote control for the AC unit, needed to ask the front desk (not in the room by default), which we found very strange and a first in our travels. No hot water at night, but did have hot water in the morning. The room smelled odd, probably due to a clogged drain. Breakfast was mediocre and coffee was poor, but at least there were some vegetables. Probably wouldn't stay here again, but not bad. Pool seems nice.

Clean rooms but no warm water after a day of being on a walking trip. Breakfast is ok. But if yoghurt runs out, don't look up to the staff eating... yoghurt

Very nice hotel, with most hospitality owner and staff. They have nice big rooms with full equipment. Breakfast is great, specially now in New restaurant with seaview. I recommend.

Rooms are nice and comfy, while the bathrooms have issues, at least in the old part of the hotel. There are fridges in the rooms, which is nice. The air conditioning didn't work in our room, but we didn't mind. Breakfast is simple but OK. Great coffee! The owner and personell is very forthcoming and friendly. Pool is great! All in all - a very nice hotel, accessibility is good, if you don't mind some stairs.

Irene is so lovely and helpful plus an excellent cook. Breakfasts really good. Rooms cleaned thoroughly daily and linen changed regularly.
