★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und wurden von Manolis und seiner Familie herzlich empfangen und liebevoll umsorgt. Check-in lief problemlos, wir hatten ursprünglich ein Zimmer mit Bergblick gebucht, wurden aber kostenlos in das schönste Zimmer mit der besten Aussicht zum Meer einquartiert. Für die Treppe sollte man halbwegs fit sein, aber das war kein Problem für uns. Das Zimmer, Balkon und der Pool waren allesamt sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war für diese Kategorie mehr als ausreichend und Manolis hatte immer ein Auge darauf, das von allem genug da ist. Agia Galini ist ein recht typisch griechisches Örtchen, mit einer schönen Strandmeile und einer tollen Altstadt. Fernab von den riesigen Bettenburgen aber dennoch belebt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
 We had a wonderful holiday and were warmly welcomed and lovingly cared for by Manolis and his family. Check-in went smoothly, we had originally booked a room with a mountain view, but were put into the most beautiful room with the best view of the sea free of charge. You should be reasonably fit for the stairs, but that wasn't a problem for us. The room, balcony and pool were all clean and well maintained. The breakfast was more than adequate for this category and Manolis always made sure that there was enough of everything. Agia Galini is a pretty typical Greek town, with a beautiful beach mile and a great old town. Far away from the huge bed castles but still lively. We'll definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best greetings to you Manolis and your team! You are the best host i had in Agia Galini until now :-) He gaves me good information about anything i wanted to knew! The breakfast is more than somewhere else in this categorie! You can take in the time as much as you want and it is refilled in time or before something is empty, great work to All!!! The service was quit good in all! Sure the rooms and the hotel have been some time in use, so its not a new one but if there Was something the manager fixed it instantly, great Job to him. The pool is not 24/7 open but it was clean and did the job well ;-) the room service was so cute, they drapped even our clothes for the night realy lovely! I missed it now at home... In all a very nice place to stay with lovely Service, i would book again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel, close to the beach, tour agencies, car rental, bars and restaurants. Staff is very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple, but enough. Rooms have a big balcony with seaview. Hotel has a nice pool too. Owner was very kind, he makes you feel welcome as an old friend and was kind enough to ship me the little teddybear my kid forgot in the room. Looking forward to stay at Sunlight again! Oh, and just 40min drive to Matala beach =)

If you book a room here, be sure to ask for a lower floor. There is no elevator. Also, we were on the top floor exposed to the strong winds. The wind HOWLED and WHISTLED relentlessly every minute we were there. It was like sleeping through a hurricane.

Relaxed & quiet, you can walk to everything.You will need to climb stairs but the owners were helpful & the Mr carried my bag up for me. They have a couple of cute, well behaved children. Breakfast was very good and in an atmosphere that makes it easy to meet and chat with other guests if you like. There is air conditioning but I didn't need it. Perfect for me, a solo traveler, also great couples on a budget. The people of the town were kind and generous ( please give to the care, there was a huge wedding party in the square when I was there They danced and played music till dawn. There are nice beaches with services, fishing, and a lot of fantastic food within walking distance. It was easy to hire a boat to see the shoreline and go swimming. I would absolutely love to stay here again someday.
