Friendly, Self Catering/Half Board clean n tidy

Lovely place!

Not a good place to stay in . its out of nowhere 30 munites walk to the beach. 1hour walk to the nearest town and what pissed me off was there's air conditions in a room but. They turned off asking for 50 euros .if u can stay away from this place coz its not even 1 star .

Highly recommend it. It's a family run business very friendly good food nice pool ample sunbeds. Definitely go again

We stayed in Petros Villages from the 17th of July until the 31st. We had a great stay. We came here due to an overbooking by our touroperator. So we got lucky somehow. We read many positive reviews and we can simply add another one to this. Keep in mind that this is a 2/3 star appartement. The last couple of bookings we had similar kinds of appartements or AirBnB-accommodations. With a swimming pool, small restaurant, poolbar, pool table and table tennis we got enough facilities to start with in Petros Villages. Add the lovely family who runs this place and you can be easily satisfied as well. The village Analipsi you can reach by a 15-minute walk. There you can find a couple of supermarkets that can supply you with the food and drinks you need. Fresh vegetables is a little difficult though, cause the all inclusive resorts has destroyed a lot of local businesses (restaurants, supermarkets, taxi drivers; they all have a hard time). In case you don’t want to carry all the stuff from the village (a little) up the hill to Petros Villages, than don’t: eat at Petros Villages. They have several meals to serve and even for us vegans they were able to impovise. And the prices are very good. The sea by the way is also a 15-minute walk. The beaches are quite good. Near The Wine Bar (ask the locals) you have great beaches where you can get two beds and a beach umbrella for € 6,- a day. Again: save the walk as the nice swimming pool in Petros Village can satisfy you easily. The bus to popular places such as Chersonissos (€ 1,80 pp), Malia (€ 2,10 pp) and Heraklion (€ 2,40 pp) stops in front of the door. Until about 21.00 hrs the bus stops every 15 minutes. The bus shedule is based on Greek times :-) Two things that might bother you: the accommodation is situated next to a busy road. Due to the hot nights, we closed the windows and used airco (€ 50,- per week). With the windows closed you hardly hear the road. You might hear the airco a little though :-). The second thing is the airplanes which are flying over. In high season you can count quite a lot. But these ‘matters’ couldn’t convince us to take away some stars of this (long) review. For our family Petros Villages was a perfect home for a well deserved relaxing holiday. We sure like to recommand this place for family’s. Need more information? Don’t hesitate to contact me! Very nice apartments and a well run business by the ever so friendly owners and there family's. The food was also nice and reasonably priced. Are only problem was the lack of cleaning of the rooms I.e. the toilet paper bin and the rubbish bags that wasn't emptied on a daily basis. But yes we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay.

Nice people of Petros Village, noisy crickets and watchdog. Next to noisy road. The rooms are not clean as an all-inclusive hotel. There is a small pool next to the bar. Beach 20 minutes walk. Better rent a car for shopping and sightseeing. When you like a small family company, Petros is the place to be.

Really nice people and good place to stay. As long as you do not need the supermarket around the corner (take a car or scooter and the bus connection is good too) and was looking for an ultra all inclusive vacation with the beach in front of the hotel. Then this is not the right one for you. Beach at 15 minutes walk. No problem when you can walk at hot temperatures. There is some noise from traffic, airplanes and a lot of crickets. The WiFi was good.
