Only mediocre quality. Particularly the staff is very unfriendly and not helpful. The management does a very bad job! Extremely disappointing experience. P.S. Answering the question from the management - I have never been so rudely treated by the staff as in your hotel. I came to the dinner dressed in trousers ending a little above the ankle and I was forced out of the dining room to change for full lenght trousers, although I asked politely and promised to wear long trousers on the next day. Incredible!!! I was in this concentration camp which you call "hotel" in 2015 and I still cannot forget this "experience"

We were staying at Anissa Beach and Village hotel in Crete in August with my wife. As we arrived, we were offered three dirty untidy rooms to move in. Then we were accommodated in room 469 with cobwebs on the walls. For the 9 days of our vacation we found 5 cockroaches in our room, which would appear only in the bathroom. We didn't bring any food to our room, so cockroaches apparently inhabit the hotel kitchen. Cockroaches spread a range of dangerous diseases. I informed the reception about the problem with cockroaches and asked them to solve it. The receptionist asked to wait for her boss. We had been waiting for the boss for 3 hours. The meeting with the boss was not nice. She was rude, she spoke in a raised voice, threatened us and claimed the cockroaches to be a common thing. She flatly turned down our request to change our room by saying we were the strangers in that country, we didn't have any rights and we could not require high-quality service. She also said she could call the police at any time. I regard it as an act of racism. When I asked whether there were cockroaches in the kitchen, she confirmed that cockroaches inhabited the whole hotel. I asked her to repeat it for camera, and this is what came out of it. She called me mad and made an attempt to pull the camera out of my hands. My problem was solved by cleaning the room, yet it didn’t make any change. It should also be noted that during stay it was impossible to go to the balcony, because there were, to put it mildly, unpleasant odors. In addition, on the ground floor, right under our room there was the hotel kitchen, where food is prepared. This suggests that the kitchen is probably also inhabited with cockroaches. Before leaving (on the last day of stay), 2 cockroaches (as big as elephants) once again appear in our room. We had to call the hotel staff with dichlofos for help and, together, we were able to get rid of them. Only after this egregious incident, we were moved to another room (#570) on the floor above for one night. The next morning, on the day of our departure, we went downstairs for an early breakfast, and found a cockroach again. It was lying dead in the restaurant floor next to the kitchen entrance. I believe that hotel with cobwebs on the walls, cockroaches and boorish administrator has no right to classify themselves as 4+ stars. I do not recommend to check into this hotel. There are many adventages but also as much as disadventages of this hotel, that's why i give medium mark. Adventages : clean rooms, close to beach and swimming pool, tasty greek food and beautiful gardens, beautiful view if you have room with the view on sea. Disadventages: not enough sunbeds (people reserve them by leaving their towers for a long time without even laying on them), long queues to get the meal (no self service, so the meal lasts at least 1h), and the worst are animations in german (+few words in english), if you are not german you won't feel welcome but rather ignored. To be honest, i wouldn't come back to this hotel again.

We spent such wonderful holidays in Anissa Hotel. We were amazed by the beauty of the place. It was so clean and full of nature (the cicadas were something that surprised us everytime, in a good way). We just loved the place and don't get me started about the staff hotel. I have nothing but praise for them. They are doing a really good work. The staff in the canteen are so dynamic, fun and just so dedicated. God Bless you all, you're all so amazing. We have nothing negative to say, it was an incredible stay. Thank you so so much, definitely already recommended this hotel around us.

This was our first trip since 2019 (covid) and we felt very safe! Everyone in the hotel wears a mask, including the kitchen staff. The food is not self serve, but it’s overall a safer practice to reduce contamination. The rooms were very clean, and the front desk was always helpful. The hotel also has a doctor on site, so getting a PCR or Rapid Test was easy and only cost us 25 euros each. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The main guests they cater to are German, but we still felt welcomed.

One cannot say enough positive things about this hotel and the staff. From the reception to the kitchen staff, cleaning staff, animination staff, Hair salon, fish spa etc...just everybody are extremely friendly, kind, caring and go out of their way to make our stay the most pleasant we have ever had. This is our 1st family vacation in 5 yrs and we could not have been more impressed and happy to have chosen this hotel. Management is super sweet and always making sure all is well. Everyone is always willing to go that extra mile to ensure our experience is a great one and we are very sad to leave in 2 days. God bless everyone here and thank you for everything!!!!!! ????

We are very happy here. The staff are friendly, polite, happy and would do anything they can to help you with whatever you might need. Lovely people! We found the food really good too. There is so much variety and it's cooked to perfection. There are always some typical local dishes from Crete as well, which we appreciate. The hotel has a fantastic pool area, with a bar and palm trees, but if you prefer the sea like us, it is situated right at a beautiful beach.
