Best Resort I’ve ever stayed at. We have been there 5 times now and I still want to return every year. The resort gives a beautiful atmosphere, especially due to the beautiful nature. A perfect and large beach and the area is surrounded by mountains which gives this place the special touch. The restaurants are clean and not messy even during the busiest season. The food is always delicious and never disappoints. Especially the restaurant at the beach can be recommended. Having dinner there while watching the sun set is a super romantic and a warming experience. Rooms are clean and got everything you need. The personal is always very helpful and very friendly. Totally recommended! Can’t wait until our next staying. Family Doulis

Great for families, the hotel has lot of attractions for children. The beach and pool areas are organized and good infra structure. Food is also very good, served in three restaurants. Rooms are comfortable.

The hotel's location is great. It is closely located to Chania and Rethymno, two fabulous cities. However, the hotel is far from a usual 5 star hotel. It is rather similar to a good 3 stars. The rooms were nice and more or less clean. The sink was often smelly. The mattress and other furniture is quite old and uncomfortable. The buffet is huge, however, we were heavily disappointed in the food's quality. Especially the Greek cuisine did not even come close to the food prepared in tavernas. The meat was fat and of very low quality. Vegetables were cooked for way too long and poorly seasoned. You will have a greater and cheaper experience, if you eat at local restaurants. For breakfast the situation was similar. The juice is mainly water with some sugar, but can't be called "juice" in my point of view - for a 5 star hotel this is quite sad...furthermore, at most tavernas, we were offered water on the house. At the hotel, even water was not included. You will have to pay extra for everything and the prices aren't low. The service staff was sometimes very friendly but often also grumpy. The reception is trying to get rid of you with as little effort as possible and they also didn't ask us, how we liked our stay. When I tried to explain to a service employee why I didn't eat the Suflaki (worst quality), she didn't even listen and said "cool, that is great". We got a good deal for the hotel, therefore our stay was acceptable, but I wouldn't come back.

Very much 'German orientated', but very nice. Good rooms, very nice personnel and great service. The beach is huge! Restaurants could up it a notch, but all in all very good food.

We visit on September the weather was perfect, it's a beautiful resort mountain side and sea side. Very clean good food and kind service. We really liked it. The room was quiet view to the swimming pool. Hope to visit again next summer.

Just written an average review of this hotel on trip advisor and wanted to do this one as Tripadvisor does not allow you to update reviews. This hotel has beautiful grounds, pools and sports facilities and generally has a nice relaxed atmosphere making it perfect for families. I had a few issues that were more about me and the kind of hotel that I usually stay in but today the manager spoke to me personally which I always think it a sign of a well run hotel. Hotel has a nice breakfast buffet and a standard evening buffet. I think I don’t usually stay in hotels with buffet so for me the food wasn’t spectacular but there was a lot of choice and the families who are this hotels predominant market seemed to be enjoying the buffet a great deal. I think this is probably a lovely hotel for people with young children as it is clean, safe and spacious.
