 The hotels around Karaiskaki Square make it attractive but the area is generally dangerous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plateia Karaiskaki (greek hero ) is also known Plateia Stanley dye to the luxury hotel Stanley right there. Very convenient place to holiday or live. Metro station buses and fruit and fleemarket every wednesday on chiou street. Hotels Lotus Stanley and a few more are about 100 eu per night. Sometimes cheaper. The location is at the fridges of coolest area for arts in Athens Metaxourgeion and Gazi night bars and vegan restos. All in all a very good place ti stay. Only problem is city noise ;)
