★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ζωντανό μνημείο από την εποχή του Πλάτωνα, όπου ο αρχαίος έλληνας φιλόσοφος, κάτω από τη σκιά της ελιάς αυτής, δίδασκε τους μαθητές του τον 5ο αι. π.Χ. Η μυθική ελιά του Πλάτωνα βρισκόταν σε αυτό το σημείο μέχρι το 1976, όπου ένα λεωφορείο μίας γραμμής της τοπικής συγκοινωνίας έπεσε επάνω της. Ο κορμός της ελιάς μεταφέρθηκε και βρίσκεται σε προθήκη στο Γεωπονικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Platoe was a Greek Philosophy.
As per the tradition the tree's shadie hosted him thousands of years back.
In 1976 a bus hit the tree.
The remaining of the tree are kept in the nearby Agra cultural museum.
Nowadays the sight does not remind anything unfortunately of this event.
