Plaza Beach Hotel - Plaka

LOVED this place and are planning to come back next year! This is a quiet location at the end of the busline. The crowd is definitely the over 50 read-a-book-at-the-beach crowd. No party's. A few small children but that's it, it was mostly couples working on their tans and books. Which is exactly what we were looking for after all the hustle and bustle of Athens. We had a family suite and it was huge! Great water pressure in the shower, lots of hot water, plenty of towels for showering and the beach too. Bed was firm but comfortable, same with the pillows. Air conditioning worked great (tip, look for the remote by the tv to turn it on or adjust temp not the wall thermostat). You cannot drink the tap water but bottled water is cheap at the mini mart on property. Cocktails from the bar were good and poolside service is nice. Sunbeds near the pool are free but the ones at the beach are 6€ a day. Free breakfast is simple and good. Dinner was good. The bus runs all day starting at 0800 until 2400 at 30 minute intervals. It's 2€ a ride no matter where you go and you buy tickets at the mini mart NOT on the bus itself. You can also get ferry tickets to Paros, mykonos or Santorini. You can do a quick trip in the morning to and from Paros which was nice and it gives you a nice boat ride with beautiful scenery. There are many good restraunts on island plus little markets and bakeries so you can keep things in the room fridge for snacks. The hotel offers laundry service for 10 euro for a fair quantity of laundry and they did a nice job with ours. The place is very clean and the pools are outstanding! Staff is friendly, housekeeping is very good. I appreciated the small things like the pump soap in the bathroom, Two drinking glasses in the bathroom, a lovely basket with a bottle of wine and fruits on our arrival. Staff was friendly and spoke enough English to communicate. Highly recommend for a quiet relaxing beach vacation!

Really nice beach bar with pool and polite staff. 10€ for sunbeds/umbrella set including 2 coffees and bottles of water on one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Please prefer this establishment and do not encourage neighbouring ones where they charge 40€ for the set.

Great hotel with very good service? Nice pool and poolbar. Nice breakfast buffet and spacious area. More or less at the Plaka Beach wich is Great both for swim, a morning run and relaxation with possability for a snack served at your sunbed site? Would live to come back again?

Really great hotel, 1 minute from the beach and one of the best beaches in Naxos! Really well located hotel and the pool is very big, cocktails and food were also good and priced fairly! Breakfast had a lot of variety and was different every morning which was refreshing. Lovely place to stay if visiting Naxos

This was the highlight of our trip to naxos. The breakfasts were so good. Excellent food. Safe re covid and social distancing/great care afforded in serving. Beautiful pools. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Close to the beach and great restaurants. Fun bar with food available at night. Bus comes right to this property to get you to downtown naxos and the ferry. Perfect place to stay on the island.

rooms were okay but not value for money. beach in front is nice when it's not windy (which only happened during day 4) anti-covid measures were sadly not followed during breakfast. the buffet operated normally, guests handling their own serving (with bare hands). while there were available gloves, staff did not enforce their use. guests even had to cut loaves of bread, which was extremely unsanitary.

We had a pleasant stay at PBH. Staff is very well trained and never shy of an honest smile and some kind words. Breakfast could be better but it's up to 3 star standards. The service is at least of 4 star quality. Also the food from the pool bar was very consistent and of good quality!

5 stars because we had an excellent experience. The pool is nice but there were a lot of children diving and splashing during our stay. The pool is large but kids will be kids and do the best they can to splash the adults so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Rooms were fine. Shower is tight. Supermarket and free breakfast are convenient. Close to the beach and the bus into town. Issue with the credit card machine during check out and we almost missed the bus to our ferry but it got sorted.
