Porto Mani Suites - ΚΥΠΑΡΙΣΣΟΣ ΑΛΙΚΑ

Underbar utsikt från verandan utöver havet. Det går en stentrappa från nedre delen bakom hotellet, så går alldeles utmärkt att ta sig ett dopp i havet. Byggt i traditionell stil och drivs av ett äldre par som verkligen ger dig en personlig service. Serveras lokala specialiteter till alla måltider

Υπέροχη τοποθεσία για τα δεδομένα της μανης. Είχαμε ένα ισόγειο junior suite, με θέα μπροστά στη θάλασσα (βράχια), και ένα μονοπάτι σχετικά βατό πάνω στα βράχια οδηγούσε σε μια καθαρή όμορφη παραλία. Πρωινό πολύ καλό, όπως περιμένεις από ένα ξενοδοχείο 4 αστέρων. Αυτά τα καλά και για αυτά τα 2 αστέρια Το δωμάτιο καθώς και ο περιβάλλοντας χώρος έδινε την εντύπωση, εγκατάληψης και αδιαφορίας. Αρκετά πράγματα που ήταν στην περιγραφή του δωματίου έλειπαν και όταν τα αναφέραμε εισπράξαμε δυσφορία αντί για συγνώμη που δεν ήταν στη θέση τους. Π.χ. Ρόμπες σ μπάνιου είχαν χαλάσει και θα έρχονταν σε 3-4 ημέρες, πετσέτες θαλασσής επρεπε να τις ζητήσουμε , καφετιέρα για καφέ / τσάι αποσύρθηκε λόγω COVID!! Όπως και τα ποτήρια κρασιού ( FYI, ο COVID επιβάλλει αποστείρωση όχι αφαίρεση…). Επίσης το δωμάτιο δεν είχε τζάκι όπως στη περιγραφή και ο κενός τοίχος είχε ένα μεγάλο μπάλωμα, μάλλον υγρασία. Θα ήταν καλό να υπήρχαν σίτες στη μπαλκονόπορτα για να μπαίνει καθαρός αέρας, και να μην αναγκάζεσαι να είσαι με το a/c όλη μέρα. Συμπεριφορά σερβιτόρου , εξαιρετική!!με χαμόγελο και ευγένεια, αντιθέτως του οικοδεσπότη. Καλό είναι να θυμόμαστε ότι όταν ο πελάτης πληρώνει για μια junior suite σε 4αστερο ξενοδοχείο, θα ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να λαμβάνει 4 αστέρες υπηρεσίες, όπως ακριβώς περιγράφονται στο booking. Βαθμολογία 9,1? ίσως πάλαι ποτέ, αλλά όχι σήμερα!

Υπέροχο σημείο γιά διαμονή! Φανταστικοί οικοδεσπότες οι ιδιοκτήτες. Από τα υγειϊνότερα και πιό προσεγμένα πρωινά που έχω συναντήσει στα ταξίδια μου και κυρίως βασιζόταν στην τοπική τους κουζίνα και προϊόντα της Μάνης. Η εποχή που πήγα δεν ήταν η καταλληλότερη γιά μπάνιο και δεν μπορώ να έχω άποψη για το πώς ήταν η θάλασσα. Επειδή το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε πλαγιά που εφάπτεται με τη θάλασσα, δεν γνωρίζω αν μπορεί να την επισκευθεί κανείς με κάποιον τρόπο, λόγω πετρώδους εδάφους. Όμως πολύ κοντά, παραδίπλα, υπάρχει όμορφος,γραφικός και ήσυχος μικρός κολπίσκος Η θέα, ο ανοικτός ορίζοντας και ο ήχος της θάλασσας, είναι μοναδικά. Ό,τι χρειάζεται κανείς, να ηρεμήσει για ένα Σ.Κ. ή να κάνει τις διακοπές του.

Lovely hotel, great location, amazing food

Wonderful location, the maintenance of the room a bit shaky

I rarely write negative reviews for a hotel but I was really surprised by what happened at this property. On the 11th of July I called the property to inquire about the layout of the rooms but was not ready to book over the phone. Later on that evening I made a reservation for two nights 12 -14 of July.We arrived only to find out that the reception was closed. We assumed that the receptionist was busy on another role and would return. We waited outside -in a heatwave- time went by and after multiple calls the owner called us back telling us that we had no reservation and anyway we had to wait as he was in Aeropolis 40min. away. He was annoyed and hang up on us when I said well I do not wish to stay at a closed hotel and I want a refund. He agreed on the refund. We left and went to another hotel where I realized that i had forgot my carry on luggage at Porto Mani and drove back (45 min.) to get it. During that time the owner never bothered to call and say that he had found it. When we arrived he was at his desk and we went in to ask if he had completed the refund. He said " you have to do it you have to call Expedia USA". I said "no you have to do it. We came here to find a closed hotel and you agreed to refund us". " He responded "No i just called them..you have to do it" I insisted "well call again so we can do it together then." Of course this was a lie..he had called the central reservations office in Greece to complain about us and taking his side of the story they had told him that I should then deal with Expedia and cancel" I asked to speak directly to them and of course when they heard what had happened they refunded us instantly. All this would have just been easy to resolve had he apologized and really admit that he was not checking his reservations. Instead he blamed us for having called him and not book on the phone with him. As he said " this gives him the right to shut down the hotel". So because I had called..any of you who may have booked this hotel....would have found it closed!!! Not only his behavior was not simply unprofessional but unethical. He called the reservations department to ensure it would be challenging for us to get our refund and would have to spent a day with Expedia to do so. Further knowing that I had left my luggage he made no courtesy call. Finally in this heatwave he could have offered a glass of water.... Just to add that i am Greek American so there was no language barrier.

The best Greek food we've ever had! You'll need a car as it is remote but you won't regret going. If the spectacular views and short walk to a small idyllic private beach aren't enough, you should visit Porto Mani Suites just for food! Felt like one of the family after six nights there.

Excellent view to the sea. Management was kind. Room was well located with sea view. Breakfast was delicious, served by the manager from the buffet. Price quality ratio was 3and a half stars.
